A True Culinary Gem Deserving More Than Five Stars!
Amigo BBQ is a wonderful discovery in the heart of Lithuania that truly deserves a rating beyond a simple five stars—if I could, I'd give it 10 Stars. This is a heartfelt review of our personal experience, not a commercial endorsement. From the moment we walked in, the combination of great, authentic, and delicious food, attentive service, and a wonderful ambience made us feel instantly at home.
The quality of the food was extraordinary. When the freshly prepared dishes arrived, it was a genuine culinary highlight. The BBQ Ribs were a perfect example—tender and delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Tacos, which were perfectly prepared with corn tortillas, and the Burrito, a joy from the first to the last bite. A standout feature was the selection of homemade BBQ sauces, which were perfectly flavored and offered a variety suitable for any preference, from mild to satisfyingly spicy.
The overall experience was enhanced by the chef's clear passion and a distinct Latin flair evident in every dish. Beyond the food, the restaurant offers great prices and a full selection of classic drinks. The decor is worth noting—it is rustic and clean, featuring authentic colors that genuinely lift your spirits, creating a joyful attitude perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. The friendly environment and accompanying music further contribute to the festive atmosphere.
I sincerely hope Amigo BBQ considers catering for events, or at the very least, I strongly encourage others to bring their own group to the restaurant to feast upon such rich flavors. This is a culinary gem that I will certainly be returning to again and again. The experience was so positive that I hope they do well enough to franchise and share this concept; speaking personally, I'd love to see them open in Germany!
Verdict: An exceptional and authentic dining experience that goes above and beyond...
Read moreIt opened in this location not too long ago. And decided to try it out.
The place might be smaller but the amosphere is nice and cozy, music is not too loud, with chef working on your food beside you over the counter.
The meniu is not too big, but thats most of the time is a big plus. Since chef only needs to focus on few items, those few items will most likely be of great quality
For the first try I immediatly went for the biggest item. A combo meal of 1 meat(chef said you can ask for a mix, 50/50 of two meat types), 2 garnishes(fries and salad) and a drink. Everything cost only 10 Eur.
The meats I chose were ribs and thick bacon. Both were really tender especially the bacon, which was a flavor bomb the moment i bit into it. The fries where crispy and nicely salted. The salad was fresh and went great with meat. The meat had enough flavor and spices that you didnt sauce on top of it but if i wanted some, there was mild and spicy sauces on table.
The prices were not for everyday eating, but definitely worth it. Nothing more to say than I ate my fill and left happy. Definitely worth to check it out...
Read moreI passed by this place with my family this afternoon. The store itself drew us in to try what dishes they had. From the menu alone, it would make you drool from the options. Especially if you're craving for some Texas-Mexican food.
My family got the Pork Meat Combo (Mix) with the Fries as the garnish. The fries alone is seasoned so differently. It isn't too salty nor were the spices too overwhelming to the tongue. The pork meat mix brings in a new aroma we haven't encountered in a while. The meat was soft, easy to chew, and even sliced and portioned well. Even with the Amigo BBQ sauce alone can make a proper meal when paired with rice.
I'd also like to note the atmosphere of the place. The staff present as we waited for our takeout order, were friendly and we didn't struggle speaking with. The music selection, the wrestling masks framed on the wall, really gives off a familiar Mexican vibe like that you can...
