A famous restaurant in Miri for their roti canai cheese tarik and nasi kandar. It’s an open air restaurant with blue painted walls seating about 50 people at a time. Very clean with hardly any flies. Staffs were attentive and service was quick. You can find the menu on the table (literally, the menu is the table) and you can also choose from the food heater. The only issue is the prices aren’t displayed.
Heres what we ordered: NASI BIRYANI 3 RASA. The serving was huge! Comes with three types of biryani, three types of meat (lamb curry, beef curry and honey chicken), an egg and vegetable. The curries were really delicious with strong spices, the meats were tender too. The honey chicken is very sweet which actually complimented the curries which are saltier. The biryanis are cooked well and fluffy. I enjoyed one of the yellow biryani better as it had more spices and savoriness.
ROTI CANAI CHEESE TARIK. Generously loaded roti with cheese. The cheese used was mozzarella and the pull was very satisfying. In terms of flavor, mozerella doesn’t have much saltiness or taste to begin with, but it was definitely cheesy and delicious. It also wasn’t oily and the roti was soft, thin and had a nice chew. Recommended to order this if you are a cheese lover!
ROTI JANTAN 3 RASA. Its roti canai with cheese, stuffed with 3 types of meat, topped with 2 sunny side up eggs and 3 types of sauces. When we ordered roti jantan, we also thought the roti used was roti telur with 2 eggs and not the eggs separated, so it was interesting. The roti had a lot of flavour from the meats, curries and the creamy yolk.
NASI GANJA AYAM KAMBING. One type of nasi briyani, curry lamb and honey chicken with an egg and acar. The portions were very generous though the lamb was mostly fat and a bit tough. Similar to the nasi briyani 3 rasa but without the beef curry and the other 2 briyanis.
ROTI CHEESE MOZERELLA. You have a choice to stuff it with sardines, lamb, beef or chicken. I choose lamb. They used the lamb from the lamb curry and chopped them up so the flavour was quite intense without dipping it into the curry provided. They really stuffed a lot of lamb into the roti so the cheese inside was could hardly be tasted (but there wasn’t as much in it compared to the cheese tarik).
UDANG GALA. So we just ordered one udang gala without anything. It was large and tasted like a regular udang gala. It was fresh, a bit tough and the seasoning was basic.
MILO/TEH TARIK ICE CREAM. The milo and teh tarik with the vanilla ice cream on top tastes like the usual but whats interesting is that they topped it with strawberry syrup. It was pretty strange on the teh tarik but on the milo, it worked. Not bad.
Overall, would love to come here again definitely for the roti cheese tarik and the nasi briyani 3 rasa. They aren’t consistent but the food still tastes good. The overall price was not bad for the quality, taste...

High google reviews from discount offered Visited this place for the relatively good (4) review. But food, price, and service were mediocre at best. They offered a small discount if you gave them a review on Google. Which explains this skewed rating.
Unreasonable and hidden pricing. Had mozzarella prata, 3 rasa Briyani, teh tarik, milo for 55RM. Pricing is not transparent as there was no table or counter menu w pricing.
Cold food Byiyani and meat dishes were cold, left in the open for longer, and were not fresh. Had a bad stomach ache...
Read moreVery bad experience having my lunch here. My family had two cheese naan, one roti tissue, one roti kosong , one fried rice. And it costs us around 130bucks ! The counter guy was very annoyed and being rude when I asked him to itemize my order as I need to know what I’m paying for. Too overpriced and overrated. I could have the same amount of food with better quality and cheaper price at other places. There’s no price written on the menu. I honestly think that this place is too overrated. Totally not...
