BBQ Chicken Miri Times Square — Restaurant in Sarawak

I had my lunch alone at BBQ Chicken at MTS for the first time. It was also my first time dining at this outlet. I ordered Chicken Mayo Hot Stone Rice and everything tasted according to expectations. It's not overwhelmingly delicious but it's good to taste. The rice portion was adequate for me. Although those who have a bigger appetite than me probably should order something else since this meal was in a medium size portion. There was also honey and butter in the rice. It does smell nice. I ordered plain water. Overall, I paid RM24 including service tax.

The atmosphere was okay. I wished they played K-pop songs given that this is a Korean food outlet. They had classical music on, but I could easily identify it as Western songs actually. They maybe could consider swapping out with instrumental kpop songs if they still want that slow and calm ambience they...

Korean Sauce Fried Chicken 5/5 Their fried chicken batter was thin and decadent. Not like those clumsy thick batter packed with flour. Also, the chicken was well marinated and super tender. Highly recommend trying their fried chicken.

Koren Rice Ball with Charbroiled Chicken 1/5 A weird dish with cheese on seaweed rice, some butter powder on the potatoes and vege. The curation of the dish is a mess. Not sure if it's fusion or an attempt to add more variety. Recommend to stick to the fried chicken.

The service is so bad. We came like more than 30 minutes before breaking fast. Ordered mineral water and give us 15 minutes after iftar. 45 minutes for mineral water? We asked from them n still need to wait 10 minutes after. Ordered the chicken tenders stripe, the waitress give us drumsticks n wings instead. When asked the waitress tone n the way she was telling us were in the wrong. Show the menu to staff then they proceed to change.
