Nova Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

Less than a year old, Nova Hotel is a gem of a hotel for visitors to Miri. This modern hotel is fitted with some hi-tech stuff. The lift has a touchpad instead of buttons. After entering, just wave your key card (PayWave style) and you will be brought up to the correct floor. So COOL!||||Our entire stay was very comfortable, from the stylishly appointed room to all amenities in good working order to clean and comfy bed, linen, etc. Even on the second floor and facing the main road it was peaceful, offering good sleep quality. ||||The hotel does not provide breakfast nor parking facilities. This is not a problem, as being in the town center, it has easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, Shopping malls and nearby Tamu (market). Our activities were centered nearby and all within walking distance. Food choices are plentiful, as are convenience stores, banks and options for a relaxing massage after an eventful day.||||I found the hotel reception staff super friendly, courteous and ever willing to accommodate our requests, where possible. Stay there for 3 nights. It is a modest looking hotel if u ask me. The room is clean, comfortable to stay/sleep & has an adequate amenities. Room is also nice to look at it terms of the ambiance light & the interior design. This place is a ideal location from the shopping mall & places to eat. The staff is quite helpful when ask for an assistance. Entering your floor/room require a smart card which I especially like about this place. The only negative things i want to say about this place is the safety deposit box that is not working (important for traveler who don't want to bring their valuable here & there). Still I highly recommend this place to anyone...
