My first time trying banh mi and I loved it. I ordered the ham banh mi and the bread is surprisingly good along with it's filling. The ham used are not the normal plain ham we get locally. It's special. It actually is nearly a 5 star level sandwich if you ask me but there's no 4.5 stars to give. At RM17 or RM18 each, it's not considered inexpensive but acceptable. There's so much flavour explosion in every bite that I was actually quite satisfied at eating half. I shared my first banh mi with the missus 😁 There are 6 types of banh mi to choose from but looking at it, the ham selection seems to be the right choice for me. I'll definitely be coming back for a whole banh mi next 😋 Didn't take any photos though. Forgot about it 🤗 I bought take away as I wanted to eat it slowly at home. I'm not sure about Vietnam coffee though. I tried on out at another Vietnamese shop but it's just so so. Can't say how good it is for this shop. If you eat here and ordered food with drinks, it will definitely be in the RM20 - RM40...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Banh Mi 77 and sample their 'Seow Yok banh mi', and I was thoroughly impressed. The bread was freshly baked, offering a satisfying crunch on the exterior while maintaining a light, airy interior. The roast pork was exceptionally tender, rich in flavour, and perfectly seasoned. The accompanying fresh herbs and vegetables provided a well-balanced contrast, enhancing the overall experience.
Equally noteworthy was their coffee—bold and aromatic, with just the right level of sweetness to complement the meal. It is evident that considerable care and attention to detail go into crafting both their food and beverages.

Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really love this banh mi shop in Penang! 🥖 The bread is freshly baked — crispy on the outside and soft inside — and the fillings are flavorful with just the right balance of meat, veggies, and sauce. Portion is quite generous and price is very reasonable too.
I also tried their Vietnamese coffee and it was amazing — rich, smooth, and strong, just the way it should be. Perfect match with the banh mi! The shop has a cozy and clean setup, great for a quick lunch or a relaxing coffee break.
Staff are friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can really feel the authentic Vietnamese vibe here. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Penang for a nice banh mi and good coffee. Highly...
