This is a must try resturant in Penang especially for those who visited Penang for their first time.

The novelty of this resturant is that you’d offer you (upon your choice) the very basic ingredients of a dish. Then, you need to customize it to your own preferences yourself by actually adding more vegetables/spices/meat/chicken (upon your choice) and cook everything!!! :D A small oven will be already on the table for you to cook. The cooking experience makes it a spacial resturant though! We enjoyed really too much and to us it was the just the night of the new year of 2020.

Came here for lunch at 12.30noon with a group of friends. Had the the mixed hotpot of tomato and clear soup. Both very savory soup base. We also ordered one dry Mala pork belly with potato (干锅三层肉土豆). Totally underestimated the 'small' portion. The portion is really huge! 4 of us struggled a little to finish It. That dry mala is very oily, very flavourful. Love it. Ordering process is simple, there is a menu on the table with the ordering card.. use the marker pen to specify the quantity on the menu card, and give it to the waiter. Ordered their fish head with yam soup base set...come in a big portion with a lot of ingredients such as vegetable, meat ball, bean curd etc etc.Soup taste good. The only problem is the fish head is not fresh or else will give 5 stars.I love their duck blood too.I like the deco of the restaurant..toilet is clean.
