Coffee 1911 — Restaurant in George Town

Nice coffee, we ordered a banana pancake with black coffee and a chicken sandwich. Banana Pancakes tasted really good but in the menu says there’s include maple syrup but instead they bring me ice cream and whipped cream that I didn’t ask for because I don’t cant eat those things. I asked for changed it for the original order with only maple syrup but they just remove the ice cream from the plate. Although Pancakes tasted good and coffee too! About the chicken sandwich, it wasn’t very good, chicken leg had the entire bone and skin, also it wasn’t well done, we miss the cheese. Size look big but if you take out chicken bone and skin there’s no so much left. Fries were very very good do. Peach Cooler was very fresh, cold and tasted really good. Place had aircon and wifi. Chicken sandwich: 28 ringit. Peach cooler: 10. Pancakes: 15. Large Coffee:9. Total :62 ringit In summary: It looks better than it was, maybe it’s made for asian costumers and taste. Prices are little bit higher for what we get. Place are small and nice...

Atmosphere, decoration and music are great, the lady server is attentive and helpful. Food wise, the big breakfast RM20 not worth (2*), portion too small and predictable taste. Coffee also standard. Worth trying is the platter RM24 with two different sausage, mussels, sunny egg, beans, prawn, 2 homemade sauces and one off-the-shelf mayonnaise. Tips: Best park your car at noordin street roadside then walk through the alley besides Wembley rather than parking at multi storey...

This place has the looks but it doesn’t have the taste. The mocha was bad. It felt like they made it from one of those 3-in-1 coffee packets. And for the price I’m paying, it should at least taste like freshly brewed coffee... which it didn’t... at all. The only staff they had there was cold and not friendly. This place feels like a tourist trap with the good looks but poor coffee...
