Koffe Penang — Restaurant in George Town

This is a great café almost hidden at a corner of a business building premises. You won’t see this place from the road. First you will see a small kiosk like building on the left of the main entrance to the business premises. Once you come closer, you will see a covered seating area surrounded with lots of plants, almost like a small but well-maintained garden. Once you sit there you won’t hear anything from the busy road. It’s really a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee or have a freshly made special sandwich, creation of the owner who runs the café. The sandwich I ordered was very tasty and fresh. Also, the coffee (latte) was high quality. The owner was very friendly, and I was able to have a chat with him. Small and pretty little coffee shop tuck in the busy town, pretty good environment, with fans and limited seating, you can get some peace here. I tried the meg coffee without knowing what's that, when I drink it, it gave me a very strange feeling, maybe because I don't drink my coffee sweet often, so I went and ask the owner, he kindly explained to me it is nutmeg 荳蔻, now that make sense, just myself not a big fan of nutmeg. Stayed across the road at Courtyard by Marriott hotel which did not offer fresh coffee on its premises. Only had pod machine coffee. So glad Koffe Penang was so close to the hotel so We could enjoy an excellent cup of coffee each morning. The owner and his staff are very welcoming and kind!
