LightBulb Supper — Restaurant in George Town

FOOD Ordered:

1. Mushroom soap served with garlic bread. Garlic bread was to our taste, bread was crispy and garlic was generous, something that we really like.
2. Rolling in the Light: overall it was very flavourful. Mash potatoes was a bit over salted. Would appreciate a bit more vegetables. The main meat was succulent and fresh. Well done.
3. Spaghetti oglio e olio with roasted pork was well spiced and meat was well seasoned and roasted. Very tender meat with crusty skin.
4. Cheese chicken skin has always been our favourite, so it's double thumbs up.
5. Pistachio crème brûlée and pistachio ice-cream was a set most anticipated. If you favour pistachio, this is one dessert you ought to order. A perfectly matched dessert, and my most favourite. Never will I miss this mouth watering end to a perfect dinner.
6. Lava cake has always been a sell out. We were lucky to have it this time around. Kudos to the chef.
7. Brilliantly prepared Rose latte to close a perfect meal. PLACE: Brightly lit without eye staining brightness. Place is well ventilated and conditioned. Decoration was minimal and basic. Furniture is comfortable and well arranged. Only set back was the chatty noise coming from a group of patrons. One may say this is a very informal and friendly venue. But a respect for other diners has always been a principle we must adhere. Hence, the 4-star rating. OVERALL: Great place to unwind and let your hair loose with friends after a hard days work. Food is great. Atmosphere is informal and chef takes time to go from table to table. Kudos. Definitely, will come again in the near...

Lightbulb cafe is a restaurant in center of georgetown. They have gone through a major renovation in recent years. The environment is nice and cozy, clean confortable.

We have been here for dinner many times. Their boss and staff are very nice people and we often chit chat while we are here. Their menu is updated since their major renovation. They now open till 2am which is a good news for us looking for food in late night

Overall the food is really nice and with good ingredient. The drinks also very nice and refreshing. We have tried quite a number of different food and all are nice.

Is good that they maintain the traditional way of ordering system. Personaly i dislike those restaurant that switch to the scan-QR-to-order system. Good that they have the normal way of ordering with more human touch.
