Do you have any idea what is a falooda first of all? There should be seviya sabja seeds and a hint of rose milk flavour? You know what I got from your shop for a freaking RM 15?! A glass full of ice cream, with multiple cheap syrups? No dry fruits no nothing. Just plain vanilla ice cream and multiple syrups and that’s what you call as FALOODA???? And the price you have charged is RM 15. Even on the menu the picture was entirely different. So you are serving a meal that is not even like that in the first place. U just expect us customers to pay such a price for just damn ice cream with syrups? Shame if this is how things are being sold. And this is not my first time. I have been here about 4 times. Food is generally good with staffs are okay if it’s not busy but if it’s peak hours they will be so slow. Plus never expect this kinda ‘quality’ falooda for 15. Kindly improve or else just remove it from the menu because it’s a huge disappointment. 👎🏻 I have attached the photo of that ice cream I got but certainly not falooda. I would rather spent that amount of money to get better ice-cream you know. Certainly not this. Pls don’t reply this is a traditional recipe followed, I know very well what is a falooda 😿 This is like a very bad version of purely ice cream sprinkled with multiple syrups, gives a yucky taste 🤢 Felt so bad wasting my money over here for the first time though it’s...
Read moreHaving very little hope in most Indian restaurants especially banana leaf in Penang, I was not expecting much anymore. This was not a planned lunch, only because we couldn't get parking as usual this ended up as a possibility for a tryout. First of all there was a nice cool inner area which we very much appreciated in this hot weather. Clean, spacious, not noisy with loud music and hygienic. Our server was Arun who was most gracious ,attentive, busy and hospitable, amazing. This place served actual nicely cooked vegetables e.g sorakka kootu ,bitter gourd(not deep fried like elsewhere not cucumber /onion type and thovayal, urukkai ,vattal too. ....like the older times in Msia
We had a simple nicely done lassi. The curries were better than many places we have tried ,murunga keera tannisar was lovely.
The freshly fried fish station delivers good ,hot items.
We actually enjoyed our lunch and expect to come back to tryout other dishes. We hope this establishment will keep their good chef and continue to upkeep their food standards ,we need this in Penang for Indian...
Read moreFirst of all, congratulations on your new restaurant. My first impression was that the restaurant had a traditional cozy atmosphere. The menu featured variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
I ordered kadaai vegetable rice set, gobi (cauliflower)65 rice set, garlic chicken,Tawa fish fry and prawn masala. I must admit that I was shocked looking at all the serving plates which gave me Nasi Kandar vibe. 😅 Regarding the food, they are really generous with the portions of the Gobi 65 and the kadai vegetables but both the sets were missing curry & papadam. I really loved the garlic chicken, gobi 65 & the fish. Masala chai was nice but the madras coffee was so-so.
As today is their opening day, I really was expecting the owner or any staff would visit my table to ask about the food & service. But none of them did that even when I’m paying the bills.
PS: please update your...
