Located in the central district of Georgetown, Penang, this Japanese-themed cafe offers a slice of Japan with down-to-earth mains and desserts well-known of the cuisine.
Aside from its mains such as donburis, ramen and udon, the all-rounded menu also features specialised desserts including ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ and ๐๐๐ธ๐ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฒ.
The inner texture of the cheesecake is soft and gooey, while its slightly charred exterior gives off a slight smoky flavour that balances with the sweet and salty taste. The creme brulee, freshly baked daily, boasts a slightly torched and carmelised surface, contrasting against the soft and creamy egg pudding and chewy brown sugar pearls.

The prices were also pretty high given the slow service and tiny portion sizes. When I was leaving, I expressed my dissatisfaction to one of the workers and he just stood there and gawked at me; he didn't seem to particularly care. Sort out your kitchen, level of customer service, and portion sizes, and maybe then might it be...
ย ย ย Read moreNice quiet spot in the middle of town.. A calm oasis to have a quiet meal, catch up with friends or celebrate with a loved one.
The place is smaller than before.. Only takes up the ground floor now. Used to be upstairs a few years ago.
Only about 9 to 10 tables. Call and book ahead if you have a large party.
Note there are no signs saying Fuku outside. Instead don't be confused with the Timeless sign on the outlet. You're at the right place.
The chicken katsu Don was great.. The mushroom temaki was also very yummy.
Be sure to save tummy space for the bobba tea and definitely the rm20 mango dessert which is expensive but is meant to be shared by 2.
Parking is tough to find. Drop off your guests in front then drive about 50m down to park at the mbpp spiral carpark a block down.
