Finally closing down
staff attitude, defensive attitude, not willing to listen for recommendations. wanted to sit on the window area for my elderly parents said is being reserved, till we left the table is not utilized. informed the items finished on shelf, only refill 10 sticks where 6/7 groups of people dining at the time, within seconds, is out of stock again 🤣 most importantly, soup is TASTELESS, shared feedback with waitresses and owner, result is being nagged and ask to come later the soup will be nicer cause the soup base is being REUSED, after multiple people dipping and boiling! not hygiene at all🤢 , and we are being warn if we re-dip into the soup, we will have to paid for it, even if the food is undercooked 😶 1 items for each stick, so you will easily eat 30 sticks. imformed that the place opens till 12am but they will stop refilling the items from 10+pm 🤣 location, hard to find parking.
This is my first and will be my last… Buffet style but limited and slow refill, don’t give suggestions as they will be shut down.

Satay celup is my fav which I always travel to Melaka and eat, their soup base will never be so thin, how can you say 1st cust etc, soup is not ready, I’ve throw you a suggestion that you may boild it thicker at the kitchen before serving or have the options for cust to adjust the tickness by themselves. I think willingness to listen, honesty and open to suggestions are critical for f&b survival and popularity. Plus, when i ask for the seating, the reason you told me is that those tables were reserved till evening and when i ask for food refill, you told me that the delay is due to shortage of manpower nothing about the food spoiled etc. I am sharing my personal feedback which you may or may not listen but eaters are free to choose. Anyway, I won’t further reply and fyi, i wanted to buy the sauce packet on shopee directly from Melaka’s famous shop but my elderly parents came all the way to Penang to support you, with that said, they also feel is worth to try once only.

How much can kids eat? You charge them RM30 per pax, even also a 5 year old kid, I think the most they can eat is RM10 to RM15, they took few snacks also you so calculative? How much per packet is the snack? Maybe you didn't notice, not only us take some snacks, the other customers also took, that's why we thought can at least take some cheap snacks and kids happy.. And from what I saw on the spot, my kids were not running, they just went to get their food, and your staff suddenly bring the hot spot without saying " excuse me, hot pot, be careful" , can speak? But no, she just stared very fiercely on my kid, this was what I observed.. that is the walk way for customers to walk, if you know there is dangerous, you should re-layout the walkway or hire more staff to serve customers.. In addition, she also keep on kept her eyes on my kids, why? Kids cannot take food? Even my kids go to the toilet, she also followed.. Why? Not child friendly restaurant? But all of this only happened on one staff, the other one look more polite.. The other thing is the sauce, not really tasty, at least not yummy as outside satay stall, hope you can improve based on my opinion, and not to give anymore excuses.
Ahhh, another point, please take care of your beverage area, there are a lot of ants on the black colour beverage ( not sure what was the drinks), I saw a customer just took that beverage without noticed there were many ants there, I tried to stop her, but so bad she took a sip very fast.. please monitor...
Read moreI am truly disappointed. I followed Ah Hong's recommendations, but the satay sauce was plain, tasteless, and watery. The dishes also seemed old and not fresh, as if they had been stored in the fridge for too long. Despite the promotion and guidance from Ah Hong, the restaurant's quality seems to have reverted. It was not worth the money, and I won’t be returning. If you wants to improve your business, please try to listen and take suggestions from the customers but not defending everyone of them. [Reply to the business owner: Are you sure I’m the one the mention? Haha! I just visited your restaurant once but obviously you are too vengeful that you refused to listen to others but pointed the problem to others as always… No next visit and I strongly discourage others to visit this shop.. No wonder the customers were so less even...
