中国兰州拉面MEE TARIK DONGFANGGONG — Restaurant in Johor

Had our dinner at this restaurant. We ordered beef noodle with clear soup and fried rice with beef (add kopi tarik and ice lemon as our drinks). The meals were delicious. I can say the beef noodle here was more delicious than 2 other places i've tried. The broth was really good. It also in big portion. If you're not big eater, it can be shared for 2 person. We had our meal at the 2nd floor, the space was spacious and it has a full size window so you can see the crowd of the road outside. Pricewise, its reasonable and quiet cheap for some meal. Unfortunately the sink at this level was not function. No water at the sink. And the stairs is quiet high to climb so its not that suitable for old people (if you're with your parents, better to dine in at the...

One of the best Mee Tarik spots in JB, hands down. I travel to China frequently, and I can confidently say the taste here is just as authentic as what you’d find over there. The broth is full of flavour, perfectly balanced with just the right hint of saltiness, unlike some other places where the soup is bland and lacks depth. I really appreciate that the noodles are still hand-pulled the traditional way, not machine-made like in some disappointing spots. Please don’t ever change your recipe, especially the seasoning/salt content😅 it’s what makes it so special and keeps me coming back!

And if possible, do consider opening a branch at City Square or Komtar… I wouldn’t mind skipping the long walk next...

Telling the truth as a diner. Female indo staffs acted as if I was invisible, even walked past while I tried to get their attention. End up have to get up walked to the cashier where 3 of the Indo female staffs stood and chatting, ignoring. Tomato noodles was very tasteless (Western China well known for their tomato noodles) with just teeny bit of spice and salty. I can make much better ones even if I anyhow toss it. Dumplings was small, midly spices, skin was ok. But all in all, not a good meal, portion small too for China. Just look at the 'chili oil' provided, hardly much chili only oil... yucks Spend 40RM+ single, for such standard, I feel bad for diners who wanted to try good authentic...
