I've witnessed its change from pre-covid to current post-covid, much cleaner place now. Many stall owners continue to work hard to survive.
My 1st stop always to my favourite stall Daud Kambing Soup ...soup still as rich, flavourful & generous w/ ingredients, the humble boss as hardworking!😃
I happen to come across surprising new & worthy finds!!... ** Taiwanese street food stall (braised pork rice, crispy XL chicken, potato fries, mushrooms, etc ...even rendang chicken rice!) ...only 6mth old (boss previously sells chicken rice), I tried crispy XL chicken & mushroom, really tasty & great value for money! ** Peach gum (桃胶) dessert @Dim Sum stall, rare find for the beauty conscious 😄(next to Taiwanese street food stall) ...I thought it was Cheng Tng! So glad I didn't miss it!😃 ** Bakery inside corner of coffeeshop 老新山 (new stall aft MCO in a clean, airy coffeeshop), sells assortment of pastries. I tried & WOW...soft, crispy, char siew buns ...crispy, fluffy curry puffs ...eggs tarts w/ rich custard!!
I didn't expect such changes & there seems to be more to explore...

We enjoyed the packed meals later in the comfort of our hotel room. The stall owners were friendly and prices were...

Couldn't share my experience on the food as I left without trying any of the stalls. To those planning to visit this stretch of street food, my advice is to plan it...
