I went to Restoran Vaanavil Sdn. Bhd.(Formerly known as Nilla) today. While I was ordering my meal I saw flies roaming on top of the food and I alerted the staff standing beside me to look at the flies. But he never even bother and I was telling for about 4 times yet no response. After that while I was eating i happened to see the person who was doing fresh juice. Literally this guy was doing all sorts of cleaning, clearing, servicing. With that bare hands , his fingers nails so dark and dirty he cut fruits and he scoop all those fruits with his dirty hands and put in the blender, serving to a customer. I just hope nothing goes wrong that customer and not just that one customer but all the customers as the food there are unhygienic. The food taste normal and not worth the price tag. So this happened .. i went to pay for my food and i was giving feedback on whatever i monitored but that counter guy doesn’t seem to be even listening to my feedback. He just said they will look after all that. My bill was RM17.50 for a rice meal with chicken. I paid using my card. After I got back home i checked my transactions to my shock that guy deducted RM117.50. I tried calling many times and nobody answered. I read their other reviews other also experienced this tactic there it seems. Pls be careful with this restaurant! Pls check your bill when you make payment! Pls avoid this restaurant and try other restaurants which are much nicer with...

Read moreThis is a South Indian restaurant located just opposite the old Hindu temple at the city center. We came here for banana leaf lunch and had a good experience. Food/Drink: They have good choice of vegetables and meat dishes that one can order. One can also choose to eat a banana leaf meal which has free flow of rice and basic vegetables and curries, then add on meat or extra dishes on top. We loved the meal, the sambar and fish curry was good. The vegetable side dishes was sufficient and delicious. Ambience/Location: The shop doesn't have much ambience, it's more of a quick meal and go place. Location is easily accessible on one of the main roads. Service: The kind young staff that was serving us was really helpful and we did thank him a lot of helping us out. Served us curries and vege properly too. We felt very welcome. Price: We had the banana leaf vege rice option, which was very economically priced. Very good value. Recommendation: Definitely come for the banana leaf meal. When to visit: Best outside of actual main meal times as the place...
