Restoran Haji Ali Nasi Kandar Asli — Restaurant in Kedah

This place is a hidden gem! The staff is the nicest, I wasn’t sure on what to order and they went through all the menu with me to explain me and to help me decide! They also speak a really good english. The restaurant is located close to the Maha tower, so if you sit down in the tables places outdoor you will be able to see the tower while eating ( really nice during the evening, to see the lights) The apple juice is made fresh and it was delicious! The food was really really nice also, you can tell is made with love ( no clue of the name of my food order tho). The food portion was huge and cheap! Thanks again for the patience...

Not gonna lie, decent find while we were in Langkawi.

Was sick of western food as we could only find decent western food at the place we stayed, was very happy to find rice and Nasi Kandar at that. And guess what, this little mamak in Langkawi, IMO, is even better than Hamideeyah in Penang (yes I said it 🤣)

We ordered a simple breakfast of Nasi Kandar with Fried Chicken Thigh and Tumeric Vege with Kuah Campur. Oh man was that satisfying after a few days without rice 🤤. Had roti tissue that was not too heavily coated with sugar, that was nice. Teh panas was satisfying as well.

Will be back if ever in...

Their foods are superbbbb nice🤩🤩 I came langkawi four days and i came here three days for supper👍🏻👍🏻 Muuusstttt order kambing staff, mee goreng kambing, nasi goreng kambing or any kind of kambing. The kambing at their house is tender, flavorful, and melts in your mouth.😋😋😋

Somemore must order roti pisang🍌. The sweet pisang paired with crispy 'roti' are absolutely delicious.

And another standout feature is their dahl, curry sauce etc very thick, with chunks of potatoes and chicken.
