Artisan Roast Coffee Sentul — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Always wanted to try this place. It’s a quaint shop tucked in the middle of nowhere.

They are full fledged coffee roasters and the latte I had was nice and smooth… though on tiny cups.

Came for breakfast, so their rendition of the typical ham & cheese (halal) sandwich was excellent!

The cinnamon bun was ok…

It’s sad that the commercial block is almost totally non tenanted, thus the lack of foot traffic ensures a cozy fit. Be aware it’s a lil stuffy inside, and the outside sitting is recommended.

If I’m in the area again, I won’t hesitate to drop in again for a cuppa

Update: Aug 2023, they seem to have fixed their Air Conditioning. So it’s ok to sit inside now. Just learnt that they only do light roasts for the beans they sell, so it’s strictly a pour over/V60 style if you buy their beans.

And the building is undergoing some refurbishments/maintenance so hopefully you will get more tenants joining the area and other choices around...

The perfect espresso for me is one that wakes me up before a meal but not too shocking. They got it right. Perfect place for my filter coffee too, by my standards 😁. I could taste the notes of the filter coffee that was being brewed, slowly, and ends, with a little sweet note, feels like life. Barista Joe, please continue the good work 🙌🙌🙌. Artisan Roast Sentul, please continue the good roast 😌

Food can still be improved but good also. Haha. If can increase variety would be nice.

Environment of the cafe inside is okay, feels solid bcoz of the chair and table, I like that there’s a little bar table. The building itself is very calming especially when it’s raining, and somewhat artistic since there’s vines and...

Glad to have this kind of chill and great ambient place in my neighborhood to have coffee session over work or simply, for one-on-one catch up with friend.

The drink menu is straightforward, which giving you more chance to appreciate the roast. Love their cappuccino but lately their affogato make me hooked to this place more.

Quite secluded as the cafe is nested in the atrium of D7 commercial building. Nothing to do with Three Little Birds Cafe but I wish the lushness of the atrium could have been better maintained by the Management to make it...
