I went there for early breakfast since at KLCC there are limited restaurants open for early breakfast sessions. The ambience was exquisite, and it was meant for people who don't have a tight schedule for the day. It can take a 1/2- to 1- 1hr queue, depending on the crowd since they are only open for indoor seating.
Food: limited selection for breakfast (they only have breakfast sets that would cost myr 98 per pax. The main menu or others is only available from 11 a.m. onwards. Passteries are available at counters but it would take a longer time to serve even it is ready. As for the taste my menu was flat bread etc etc (which was a personal pan pizza with 1 quater slice of potabello mushroom, 2 nos of baby tomatoes, few leaves of rocket salad) it doesn't taste as expensive as it should, but again, it is an expensive cafe that is supposed to serve you expensive tastes. What I get during my visit was just average.
Drink: As for their juice, middle-range restaurants serve way better to be compared.
coffee: numerous types of coffee range. As for me, I have described to the attendant that I am more inclined to latte, so I request a recommendation for a coffee that is similar to latte. However, what I was being served was an americano (I forgot the coffee bean origin and name, but it starts with orange), not a creamy type of coffee (I'm not sure whether this cafe only serves slow-brew coffee, which I'm not a fan of).
Service: I and my friend were attended by a newly hired man who was in charge of taking the order. I was not impressed and dissatisfied with the service that cost me MYR 30 (service charges) at this cafe. The service attendance was well groomed for the appearance however was not well trained or recognised their own chef kiss menu neither food or bacha signature coffee preferences,
others remarks: we've waited for our coffee and croissant that only was served after 1 hour of waiting (that is after we call the waiter 5 times for asking about it) and making it worse the person who should key in the order might have forgotten one of our coffee choices that leads for other assistance asking us again our choice of coffee which was recommended previously after the 5th visit to our table (for as first timer who visit to bacha and not femiliar with numerous type of coffee choice, you wouldn't remember which coffee you have chosen) for the long waiting we’ve decided to take-away the mini croissant and coffee instead of enjoying there with the cafe ambience as how it should be. this concludes to non-exciting memories with bacha cafe during my first visit and for their first opening in Malaysia.
to be improve:
1.the manpower services due to the shortage of manpower to be looked into. 2.Groom well your manpower and make sure each one of them knows their task well so that they can deliver your brand better, and bacha should serve food that is as per what it costs on the menu, not what you can get at the...
Read moreDecided to give this place a go last Sunday for brunch. Surprisingly the queue went pretty quick despite it being lunch hour on the weekend.
Let’s start with the service; We were directed and seated by a very friendly server once the wait was over. However, the waitress who took our order wasn’t the friendliest - she could do with a smile and a hello- but after a while of asking her for recommendations, she lightened up a little and proceeded to let us know what was good and what we should try.
First order came and it was a Fresh Orange Juice. Take one sip of this and the inside of your cheeks might scream from not only the sourness but bitterness as well! Despite the juice being really fresh, the fact that they may have blended the orange seeds into the juice was a big NO NO. Gross. Who does that.
So we called the waiter over and told him that we’d like to change our juice because it was too bitter, he was very understanding to our situation and agreed to get a new one for us. However, somewhere along the line, someone must’ve forgotten and the juice did not come back- we had to ask for it a couple of times.
Now the food: Kefta Meatballs was quite delightful to have. It wasn’t dry, had a lot of flavour to it and the string fries were crispy.
The Kaya croissant and the chocolate croissant was a really nice treat to have on its own.
The third dish we should’ve been served was the hazelnut cake….. but that never came. The waiters never checked to see if we’ve gotten all our order. And the only reason we remembered the cake was because we checked the bill when we were about to pay!!!! WHATTTT??? Which means that if we didn’t check, then we’d have paid extra for something we didn’t get. NOT COOL.
Atmosphere wise: It’s pretty busy and crowded over the weekend. I’d suggest going on a weekday before the crowd hits, which is probably why they forgot about our orders. Other than that, the place itself is well decorated, the coffee is delicious and the seating space isn’t too close...
Read moreI saw the long line to enter the place and out of curiosity I joined the Q too! After a wait of about 30 mins I got my table. I was attended to by a waiter after almost 15 mins which was surprisingly slow as they know there are so many people are waiting outside for a table to free up so they have to serve the customers quickly so that more tables free up. But that was not the case. I was actually calling the waiters to attend to me. I think they take pleasure in seeing people waiting outside for a long time. With that over let’s talk about the coffees which this place boasts of being the one to serve varieties from across the world. I wanted to try their 1910 coffee but it was sold out at 6pm on a Sunday. I mean this is precisely the time when most people prefer to have their coffee so the management should be prepared to have more supplies of their signature coffee since that’s what people would prefer to have plus it’s a Sunday so they should know the amount of people that would walk in. But no. Poor planning it is. I had some other coffee which was recommended by the waiter. To be honest I found the coffee not to my taste as it had a flavour of some fruits. I like my coffee to taste like well coffee. Price MYR 35 they serve in a pot which is poured into the cups. It’s enough for 2 people but as I was solo it was too much. They should have an option for a single serve. I also had the 1910 coffee croissant and the Almond Croissant which were excellent I can say the best ones I have ever had. Priced at MYR 20 for both it’s worth it and they are not that big in size so 1 person can have both.
The visual appeal of the Bacha coffee shop is royalty with traditional Moroccan settings which inspires curiosity to visit the place. The crockery etc is all royal. It’s like a Disney land of coffee shops with its red Color theme. I wish I had liked...
