Not friendly tester giver staff. Yesterday afternoon my tour brought us to your shop and we were free to try. I tried all and I was going to buy the tiramisu with almond then told my mom to try the tester, but when my mom asked for a piece of tester the staff yelled to my mom to just go to the other side to the other staff and it sounds a bit rude for an elderly. I was shocked and I said to my mom that we cancelled to buy it. I denied my will to buy coz I don’t like how the staff treat my mom. I admit your product is tasty and I realized it’s worth the price. I’ve already bought similar choco products before visit your place and I thought I should buy yours bcoz of the taste (and the promo), before that unpolite treatment. Soon after that I took my mom out and I swore I won’t buy at your place and will tell my friends not to buy at your place (I regret that I did say to my tour friends that it’s better to buy at yours than the previous shop).
Next stop is a small shop at central market you know what the shopkeeper treat us way way nicer and offered us to try all we want. At the end I did buy quite a lot for gifts.
Good product is useless if it wasn’t supported with nice service. Service is the first thing. Wish your shop improve the hospitality to customer in the future. Thank you.
PS: I don’t know the reason of your staff did that, but yelled at an elderly is such a bad move...
Read moreDisappointed by the Drastic Change in Experience
I had fond memories of visiting this outlet back when it was Beryl's. The experience used to be delightful—warm, inviting, and memorable. The staff then were courteous and helpful, always making the visit feel special.
However, my today's visit was a complete letdown. While the physical place is the same, the experience has completely changed
The current sales staff are rude, pushy, and unwelcoming. Even a simple chocolate tasting—which used to be a pleasant gesture—now feels transactional, as if they're reluctantly doing you a favor. Worse still, they aggressively hand you chocolate packets and pressure you to make a purchase.
Feeling uncomfortable, we ended up hurriedly buying a few items just to get out quickly.
This isn’t just a place to buy chocolate—you can find their products elsewhere. What drew us in before was the shopping experience, and sadly, that has changed for the worse.
Not planning to visit this...
Read moreI agree this place sell the best chocolate in KL, but I don’t like their cashier. I found one of them was very disrespectful. I just simply asked if they had trash can, so I could throw away the paper cups. Instead of saying it nicely; nope, she yelled at my face “OUTSIDE”!!! The worst part is she turned back, walked away and spoke Chinese to all her coworkers. What a shame and very disrespectful!!! They should recognize which customer was local and not or foreigners. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone at all PERIOD... If I am the owner of this chocolate shop; I would fire all their cashiers and hires nice young girls who have good attitudes and speak fluently English. Your store definitely need good cashiers who speak better English and "A+++" behavior. Cashiers and the employees who give sample to taste in your store are "main player" who bring business including customers. And please please make sure they speak better English and...
