Dear Berjaya Cafe Management
Hi , Recently I went to Berjaya Cafe for Mother’s Day Celebration 14/3/ 2023 - I took the buffet meal which cost RM 88 for Adults & Kids RM 48.
Actually I am a Vegan , during my gastronomy experience, firstly I am disappointed because not all items properly labelled because firstly assorted sandiwich has Egg Filling , Pau taken my daugther has “kaya “filling (egg)
The person in-charge mentioned only desserts got label egg content but rest is not labelled . Some of desserts & cakes are not labelled properly . I need to ask the chef , she said all cakes got Egg , some of the cakes is not mentioned clearly
I have eaten a sandwich & pau which contains Egg . OMG 😳 !!!!! The person in-charge told that only dessert is labelled with egg symbol . The rest of food is has no egg . I trusted bluntly . Actually i am having egg-intolerance allergy , as a result i am facing some symptoms due the allergy.
Since Berjaya Cafe is charging lucrative amount ,please be extra extraaaaaaa conscious on Vegan labelling , egg, milk , gluten . Read the label before buying your Raw Material in kitchen - mayonnaise, butter , cheese 🧀 , mock meat which has egg , egg white
The taste of local style vegetarian can be improvised. Taste n Presentation too .
Please look into this matter seriously before the next visit . Hope I can find more Vegan - Friendly meals & , clear information, better service . Since many are going towards Vegan lifestyle rather than only Vegetarians which has egg, milk &...
Read moreLimited selection, mediocore food. Trust they believe firmly in no food wastage, food display are of small portion and ran out quickly. This encourages you to walk up frequently to check if items were refilled. Food was not at its correct temperature, most were luke warm. Do not confuse with "plant based", the spread is ordinary no meat high carbs, deep fried, mock meat items just like what you can get in old school vegetarian eonomy rice stall. Replenishing is not as prompt and most staff are uninterested. About 80 pax diners and within sight 8 to 9 crew on duty, 3 will constantly gather at hostess counter, server in vest walk around but not sure why, they did not see soil plates to clear even we stack up, it had to be signaled to clear. For $56, you pay for spacious space, city center location , high floor view dining. Food is below average, food taste nothing to shout out, melted ice cream, service is the greatest disappointment. Nothing as rave in social media, at least for my experience today, do not see any reason to recommend...
Read morePurposely came to the restaurant to support Vincent Tan's transformation to Vege Restaurant, and good intentions to promote vegetarianism, but very disappointed with the restaurant. The restaurant could be improved by increasing the food varieties and service, the taste of food is just average, not many choices, but the price is reasonable. Believe there are no other tables were waiting for food to be served when I made my order, but I still, have to wait more than 35-40 minutes for the food to serve, don't know what going on inside the kitchen and need to take so long to prepare the foods compared to other restaurants. Many other restaurants are better than the restaurant, appreciated the intentions to promote vegetarianism but really need to put the effort to improve the...
