There is no zero star, if there is I would definitely rate it as that. Had an awful experience because of the so called Manager, Nabeen, who was extremely rude. The date was 18 Sep 2022 time was 1 pm. We were a party of 10 people, who came in 2 batches. We started first and ordered starters for 10 people i.e. Grilled Chicken Salad and tripple dipper plus 3 drinks. While waiting for our party of 7, which was about a few minutes away, Nabeen, who speaks extremely awful English gave us a warning that in 5 minutes if the party does not arrive, he would dismantle the table for 10 and give it to others. When asked what would he do after our guests arrive after he dismantled, he said that it was not his issue because it was Chilli's policy. He said the "threat" loudly, easily overheard by other guests and he was extremely arrogant. This is what happens when Malaysia's service industry recruits foreigners and failed to respect our culture that is rich with politeness. We paid our bills of RM90 plus and left with the full party of 8. If Chilli fail to acknowledge this comllaint and continue to reduce our locals to report to an uneducated foreigners because it is cheaper, shame on you Chilli's. Malaysians should feel disrespectful going to a place like this, seeing our Malay, Indian and Chinese youngsters reporting to a Nepalese who lack training and knowledge of our culture. Btw, I thought I read that Nepalese recruitment is limited to security and guards, which Nabeen's behavior was extremely right. Dissappointed and disgusted to be met with a shockingly rude gesture from Chilli's on a Malaysia Day weekend. Btw...the Malaysian crews in Chilli's were wonderful and they too were disgusted with Nabeen who Chilli's decided was better than a Malaysian to run the outlet. Needless to say we left as his attitude killed our appetite and took our lunch to Chinos, where we spent RM800 with wonderful service from the crews all the way to the Manager. The picture of the boys below were smiles because we had a wonderful...
Read moreI’ve now visited this restaurant twice for dinner, and each time has been a truly enjoyable experience. The food here is absolutely amazing—every dish I’ve tried so far has been full of flavor, well‑prepared, and served hot and fresh. The portions are generous; in fact, most meals are more than enough for one person. Another nice touch is that the soft drinks are unlimited, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The service is also worth highlighting. From the moment you arrive at the entrance, staff members are attentive and welcoming. A host guides you to your table, hands you the menu, and makes sure you’re comfortable. Shortly after, another staff member comes to take your order, and when your meal is ready, they bring everything to your table at once—often with a small presentation or serving show, which adds a nice touch of hospitality.
Throughout the meal, the staff regularly checks on you, politely asking if there’s anything else they can do to make your experience better. Toward the end, someone comes by to let you know when the kitchen is about to close, giving you the chance to order anything else before they stop service. Finally, they bring your bill promptly without making you wait around, which I really appreciate.
If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the prices here are on the higher side compared to other places. However, considering the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the exceptional service, I think it’s worth it for a special night out.
Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious food and excellent service in a...
Read moreChili's are one of those restaurants where I dunno why, but I haven't had the hype or the need to go there. Because I've only ever eaten it once before this visit. So I went here for what else, but to try that viral Mozzarella sticks. But I also ordered the chicken tenders (crispers is what they called it here) and chocolate molten lava cake.
Well I guess Chili's is definitely a certified American restaurant. Why do I said so? Well for one, the portions are big. Definitely would get your tummy full in no time. The cheese are good enough (as good as fried cheese can be), and the crispers is also pretty good. The only downside to their food, I think it's mostly readily-made. So the good thing about that us your food will arrive in short amount of time. But the bad thing is it's not freshly cooked. This also applies to that molten lava cake BTW. Also, I think the fries is cooked using oil that's used to fry other things (that's not necessarily a bad thing I know, but I dunno la. With these fries, it has that weird distinctive taste that is not good), so I actually didn't finished it.
The ambient is okay la. I mean it's not noisy or anything. Although 1 thing that I would complain is that the bench placement is quite high. It's probably to compensate children, but as someone who's not even that tall (I'm 5'10) I find that I have to hunch a bit to eat. So yeah, if you're more than 5'6 I think it's better to choose a table with chairs.
Overall, it's good and expected. Not too special, but does its job la. If you can close your eyes regarding the price, then yeah you'll...
