Dear owner of GUI GUI , after seeing too many good reviews on Google we decided to spend money in your restaurant. I was with Alfafa and Kristen (you can save your time from trying to dig our background and attack us again). Well, I travelled to Korea frequently and obviously your food aren’t that authentic as compared to the price the customer has to pay. First bite of your marbled beef with butter made me wonder why should I be here to waste my time and money. Meat wasn’t marbled and the combination of butter did ruin the taste further. This is the where Kristen pointed out low cost-effective. Banchan and other dishes we ordered did not meet my expectations as well.
We were seated in a round table but the smoke kept coming to me and it really makes me wonder again is your exhaust pipe working how it should be? Toilet flushing system was down and everything just went very wrong during our visit to your korean bbq restaurant.
Perhaps there is no other term other than racist which you can use to attack a customer who gave a bad review but being a F&B owner, if you can not run a business with an open heart and learn to accept criticism, please close all your comments and reviews function in Google.
Lastly, we have no intention to step our foot in your premises and therefore, you may save...
Read moreService were not good, we were place 2nd floor because we had many people. We had 3 problem a) gas stove broken but not replace immediately so 9 people share 1 stove which makes our cooking slow and difficult b) we want to order more or ask for side dish refill but most of the time staff not available on our floor c) even if we did ask for things like another stove or a drink it would be slow or they would forget it. Its as if they have only 1 staff for the whole store which is bad
Food tastes nice but couldnt enjoy it long because it was so little. The portion were beyond dissapointing. I saw the review before saying the portion was abit small but this portion was smaller than i thought. The 5-6 pax set couldve been finished by me and my friend. And if i tried i couldve finish it alone and still have abit room for more food
The somaek tower. First time drinking somaek made by a restaurant and im dissapointed. Its as if they just put 3 bottle of tiger beer and only half bottle soju because it was so bitter and wasnt smooth to drink.
Never been this dissapointed in a restaurant before, if could i wanted a refund and more payment for the...

As with most Korean BBQ most stuffs are pretty generic and this restaurant is no difference. However at Gui Gui they also serve Crabs which is slightly different from most. See pictures for ratings on individual food.
Tried the following:
Rice Balls 3 🌟 Average taste. Great fun if you wrap this up into balls (especially kids love it)
Kimchi 4 🌟 Taste great and not too spicy. Nicer than most restaurants.
Kimchi Soup 3.5 🌟 The Kimchi Soup tasted average. Should have ordered something different. We ordered the Crab Stew but it was unavailable today.
Pork 🥩 Neck 3 🌟 and Pork 🥩 Belly 4 🌟 Do order the belly and then cook it until its really crispy. You will probably need the oil from the fat. Do remember to try their speciality Pork Ribs.
Steamed Eggs 🥚 4 🌟 This came free and they were so nice to offer us another one when we finished this.
Generally service is good (despite the fact that they were really busy) and price is also reasonable.. A good place near Four Points Chinatown to visit if you feel like eating BBQ.
