My friends and I were searching for a place to chill and enjoy some tea since our tummies weren’t feeling great, especially after not seeing each other for months. We stumbled upon this delightful hi-tea spot in Malaysia, and I can’t rave enough about it! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely staff member who recommended an exquisite tea.

We then headed to the bar side, where we had the pleasure of chatting with Shin, the “tea-rista.” She introduced us to a remarkable 20-year-old Pu’Er tea, which had an earthy, comforting taste that truly helped us unwind. Each sip was better than the last! I was captivated by Shin's passion for tea and her fascinating insights into its history. She beautifully expressed how tea mirrors life, a sentiment I wholeheartedly agree with.

The venue itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views of Menara Tower and an overall fantastic vibe. Everything about this place, from the ambiance to the service, was perfect. Not only did we find a tea gem in Malaysia that I can call home, but our tummies also felt much better afterward! I can’t wait to return again and again!

Thank you Shin, family, and the rest of the crew members for making our experience there an...

I found this tea place on Google Maps. I’m not very knowledgeable about tea, but I recently had a great experience at a similar tea house in Jalan Ipoh, so I came here with certain expectations. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn’t feel very welcoming, except for a young staff member who proactively recommended tea to us upon seating. The staff were friendly and eager to help, but I feel with more training or experience, they could provide a more enriching and informative tea experience.

The menu is extensive, and I would have appreciated a more educational approach, similar to the Jalan Ipoh tea house. Instead, it felt more like we were being sold expensive teas rather than having a meaningful experience. Perhaps this place is better suited for veteran tea drinkers. The dessert recommended by the staff was nice and refreshing, but as for the tea, it didn’t feel particularly special to us and was just "tea."

Additionally, it was hard to get the staff’s attention. If, like me, you’re interested in learning more about Chinese tea and enjoying a more engaging experience, I’d highly recommend the tea house at Jalan Ipoh instead...

From the moment I stepped into Hi Tea Malaysia, I knew I was in for a unique experience. Nestled with a view that offers a mesmerizing glimpse of the Merdeka 88, this tea house is not just about sipping tea; it's an immersive journey into the Chinese art of tea.

The thoughtful interior design, coupled with the tranquil view, sets the stage for a serene tea-drinking experience.

But what truly sets this place apart is its dedication to the Chinese art of tea drinking. It's not just about drinking tea; it's about appreciating the ritual behind it. The staff are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about sharing this art. They provide an informative session on the tea-making process, allowing patrons to try their hand at the art of pouring tea. This inclusive approach means that even kids can participate, making it a fantastic educational experience for families.

The tea selection is exceptional, with fragrances that are top-notch and of the highest quality. Each tea has its unique character and story, which the staff happily shares, adding depth to the tasting experience. The variety ensures that there's something for...

Hi Tea Malaysia is an absolute gem! I can confidently say they serve the finest Chinese tea in the city, coupled with an impressive wealth of knowledge. The owners have truly mastered the art of pairing delightful food with their exceptional tea selection. What’s incredible is their regularly updated food menu, which adds an element of surprise to every visit! Their vegetarian options, free from artificial additives, truly showcase the chef’s dedication and sincerity in each delectable bite. Moreover, the new rooftop tea house boasts an unparalleled view, offering nearly a 300-degree panorama of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. From the historic Petaling Street, clock tower, and national mosque to the modern icons like the twin towers, KL Tower, and the stunning new Merdeka 118 tower, the view is breathtaking. It’s an absolute must-visit, providing a cozy and inviting ambiance to spend leisurely hours in Kuala Lumpur. I highly recommend visiting around sunset; the experience is simply magical.
