okay so why two stars you're wondering, if i could go lower i would trust me on that one. But due to nostalgic purposes i couldn't, this was once a cafe that i adored long time ago. The reason why im back here to write a review was due to my recent visit to the shop i found out that my beloved salmon pasta was removed from the menu and which consequently led me to choose and alternate option of pasta. Consuming that plate of pasta was the worst choice i've made that day cus of how horrible and unappetising the food was, not only it was bad it also took the kitchen a long time to send out the food ( roughly 15 -20 mins). Im just extremely disappointed to see how much this cafe has changed for the worse over the years , the reason why is cus my last visit here i had one of the best pastas i've ever had in my life over here with my buddies and i've always kept a good impression and reputation for this shop, but coming back here now felt like a heartbreak or a trauma cus you get to see how your favourite restaurant turns into an unimaginable place and take a turn for the worst. Also for some reason half of the shop was closed for some unknown reasons forcing all the customers to sit at the very few tables at the front.
In conclusion, i just really hope you guys decide to give the pasta salmon a revival and put it back on the menu for good.
and i have proof to back up my statements (...

Read moreHad a great time at Mingle Cafe! A cozy and aesthetic experience and they serve freshly made pasta, tiramisu, kombucha and more. I tried their beef bolognese pasta which was really good, a solid 8/10, perfect portion with plenty of meat and tasted delicious. I also tried their egg benedict, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I have had better sourdough bread and bacon but it was pretty good overall, a 7.5/10. The tiramisu was a 7/10, pretty fresh and tastes good but again, not the best. I also got their watermelon and coconut drink, that was really good, 8.5/10. However it is to be noted that the prices displayed here in google maps aren’t accurate, these are old prices, each item has increased by at least 15-20 rm, I hope they update their information and add the current prices.
As for the service, I would say, could be improved, I asked for the tiramisu to be served with food, but they completely forgot about it, until I had to ask them again to bring it. Attention to detail is important.
About the place and atmosphere, it’s amazing, cozy, and good music. There is wifi and plugs available as well, so you can get some food and sit there and work on your own projects. Would love to come back here again and try some other items of their menu. Prices are on the expensive end but that’s how cafes...
