I think, it is really overrated. I came with high expectation as it says "the best burger in malaysia". I love burgers and i am ready to spend if it is really delicious and worth. But i got really disappointed. I feel like the meat is just tasteless, the bread is too soft and the below one just become soggy as the meat is quite oily. I tell u, really soggy that i cant even eat it. The fries, is just ok. Chose the herb one, but nothing special. The way they fried the fries is good. But it just tasteless maybe as they didnt put any salt there. Paid 35 for double animal set and definitely not worth it. Nothing special, and for the taste, i think it just worth below 15 rm. I tried one cheeseburger in chequers, and it is the best one so far. Idk if it just this store or the KGB really is like this. But I am truly disappointed. The ambiance also not that good. I just feel uncomfortable. Everything. It just, not worth it. The first and last to come here. Sorry. This is my honest experience on what i feel. Maybe different people, different taste. I just really not does not enjoy my experience here. Even the price is 10rm, i am still not gonna repeat it. We dont mind spend 35 for a burger if it is really worth it.
For KGB. Thank u n sorry for the bad comment. I just really disappointed rn. A lot of things can be improved. Maybe the presentation as well. I know it is fast food. But for that price, u have put different level on ur brand. Should serve in a better way instead. Maybe on a plate for dine in customer. Serving in a small plastic basket, is just not ur level. And for the set, it just fries and water, but cost 8 rm? I do think it is quite overpriced for what i get. And the service, there is 10% service charge. But if everything we do it on our own (take the sauce, order) it doesn't worth the service charge. I know it just ur style to do like a fast food. But for the price and level, u can do more. Try to meet the level that u have put on ur brand. Somehow, "Life is too short for a bad burger". Isn't it? ;)
Please do improve and see this in a positive...
Read moreBeen a loyal customer since 2017 thru MCO ....after RMCO the customer service quality has gone downhill. I noticed most of the kitchen staff are now local instead of foreign workers previously. regardless, the management needs to train them better including the frontline manager staff in their customer service.
on my visit today (15/9, 9.15pm), i walked in to a restaurant that had semi shut (put up all the unoccupied chairs, shut the front barriers except for one) without any signage. was informed it was take away only. was informed last order was 9.30pm, again, NO SIGNAGE out side indicating this. I saw TWO foreign customers turned away at the counter when they arrived at 9.35pm, they looked rather unhappy....
My order was a burger and fries. it took 20+ mins for the order to be ready even though I was one of the last orders. 10 mins of this was waiting for the fries to be done. I noticed the kitchen staff was more interested in cleaning up and packing up the kitchen for the day rather then making sure the orders were served.
MANAGEMENT...please improve your customer service. thankfully the quality of the food is still five stars, but dining out is a holistic experience, poor customer service can easily kill the experience and customer satisfaction!
Update on 30 May 2021: Sad to say, the situation has not improved, in fact it has worsened. I understand right now is MCO and there are massive orders from Grabfood and Panda, but staff should not be 'lansi' and entitled when facing customers.
I ordered pickup over the phone at 6pm. was told 45 min wait. at 7pm, I arrived at the TTDI location only to be told the order was 'forgotten' and would need to wait another 15m. THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO APOLOGIZE OR EVEN EXPLAIN THE SITUATION, JUST 'WAIT'. I cancelled the order.
Safe to say, I'm...
Read moreThis is a good halal burger joint in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. I tried a seasonal Christmas special "cheesemas burger' (19.90), KGB Spiked (17.50), both with set of canned drink and French fries (additional 6.90) and Korean buldak, or fire chicken wing, (13.90 for 6 pcs). Both burger patties were cooked medium, btw. KGB Spiked is crust seared (there are flame grilled choices are available) with cheddar, beef bacon served with their original spicy sauce. This is a yammy burger probably anyone who like burgers would love. Cheesmas burger is supposed to be inspired by Raclette (semi-hard cow's milk Swiss cheese, most commonly used for melting, by heating the cheese and scraping off the melted part), but unfortunately I did not find such nice melting texture in my burger, which turned out just a nice burger and nothing more than that. Ordering buldak, I was warned if I can take spicy, but the dish itself is not at all spicy. It has kinda nice crispy and crunchy butter that your teeth could sink. It is well cooked and the meat can come off from the bone very easily. All in all, I enjoyed my burgers and chicken wings. Last but not least, they have a bottle of malt vinegar for you French fries. You'll never find one in fast food restaurant here but malt vinegar really go with fries as it makes you feel eating something less greasy. They too have mayo, chili sauce and bbq sauce as well, but I'd recommend to try your fries with...
