Killer Gourmet Burgers KGB @ The Gardens Mall — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I had the tornado chicken burger (RM18.60) while my partner had the anim style beef burger (RM17.90). To upgrade to a set with fries and drinks (take note, it's not refillable), you have to top up a further RM9.50.

The tornado chicken burger tasted quite good as it had onion ring and buffalo aioli sauce in it. However, the grilled chicken tasted a bit dry. The buns were just average, nothing to shout about but no complaints.

Was very disappointed to learn that the restaurant itself doesn't provide a handwash area. How do you expect customers to eat fries and burgers without getting their hands messy? I saw that plastic gloves were provided, but it would have been nice to be verbally informed that there's no hand wash area upfront, and that we SHOULD use gloves if we expect to have a messy meal.

Staff service is bland and boring. They looked like they preferred to be somewhere else, and they all move around like they wish they weren't there - slow, inefficient and...

Horrible service experienced. Very disappointed by the service, particularly the unfair enforcement of their queuing policy. While ordering food, my partner was told they could not take a seat while I queued—yet we noticed other customers freely ignoring this rule without facing any consequences.

Felt targeted and unfair, it left us wondering if racial profiling played a role in the enforcement. Such selective treatment is unacceptable and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for customers. A fair policy should be applied equally to everyone, without bias.

When confronted about it, the cashier became defensive and said he decided not to pick on the other customers because "he did not see them violating this rule." This so-called "rule" was nowhere to be found—neither written nor displayed anywhere on the premises. 2 years ago, my friend brought me here as a recommendation burger. I was having fascinating on the menu. That year was a lot of small types of burger/cafe house is opening for business. Competition base on food quality and crowd ambient place is very very high.

I giving out a try on a try with a Beef burger but I forgot was the name on the menu. It turn out the beef was burned, obvious on the first bite, Dry, bland. I feedback the staff and the staff just said sorry and didn't do anything bout it. Come on, burned meat bro.

And last week Thursday I was looking for a burger and in the end stopped by MidValley again. Give out a try because Carl's junior lately is disappointing me.

It turn out great, the Truffle Swiss were pretty good, the meat and the price worth the money. I enjoy my 5min wait with 30min of dine in.
