A friend in Kuala Lumpur highly recommends this place to me and I went. An amazing place for Indian food, both South and North Indian cuisine. Food and drinks here are prepared with love.

Friendly place catering for people who prefer no pork, no lard, and/or no beef. Options for people preferring vegetarian diet. Great service. I am totally delighted and will come again.

Lavang's food is flavoursome. A place with five-star quality food at an affordable place. Unexpected rare gem in the Jalan Galloway area. People in Bangsar may love to travel all the way here for it!

My friends and I shared the Fish Kashniri Masala, Bhalgari Bahra Punjabi, Irani Paneer Tikka, Butter Garlic Cheese Naan, Basmati Rice, Almond Kulfi. We also drank the Mango Lassi and Masala Tea.

I love the Fish Kashniri Masala, the Irani Paneer Tikka and Mango Lassi especially. Flavoursome and outstanding. Fresh fish, perfect texture in the Paneer Tikka. One of the best Mango Lassi I have drank: fresh mango puree with perfectly thick viscosity of this yogurt-based drink, with option for no-added-sugar in the drink. My accompanying friend was raving about the mango lassi.

Do not be deterred by the five-star looking interior and exterior. This is a five-star dining restaurant with affordable range of quality Indian food and good service.

This was my first time trying Lavang, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The ambience was perfect for a relaxed and elegant dining experience—calm, beautifully designed, and welcoming.

The service was exceptional. The staff not only attended to us promptly but also helped with recommendations by showing real pictures of the dishes, which was very helpful for first-time visitors like me.

We tried the Fish Chettinad Masala (seabass) – hands down one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. The masala was rich, deeply rooted in South Indian flavours, and perfectly blended. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection.

The Lamb Coconut Chilli Fry was a unique dish that truly surprised me. The combination of tender lamb with a subtle coconut and spice blend literally melted in my mouth – a must-try!

We also had the Prawn Thokku, where the prawns were incredibly fresh, and the gravy had a taste that I haven’t found anywhere else – bold, authentic, and deeply satisfying.
