Murni Discovery Bukit Bintang — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This is my fourth branch I visit , I've been going to Murni Discovery since my high school days. This one is located in the back area of Bukit Bintang, which is an odd place since it's not prominent. Came here on 13/07/2025 and decided to give this branch a try.

The place is smaller than all other branches I visited, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. At 3pm on Sunday, it was empty, which is surprising for such a popular place. However, it's good for those who want to enjoy Murni food but want it to be quieter and more private.

I ordered Su Hon Goreng with Grilled Chicken Chop, Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang and for drink, Lavender Special.

The Su Hon was a mix of savoury and a bit sweet, but not oily and filled with veggies. Good for those looking for low cal carb source, compared to yellow noodle, maggie or mihun. The grilled chicken chop was an add-on, came with fries and black pepper sauce. It was soft and tasty, up to par with Murni standard. The Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang is amazing and rich in taste. The spices in the rendang are really strong and prominent, although a bit sweet. Though the chicken could be cooked longer, since some parts were a bit raw, which was a bit disappointing.

The Lavender Special is my go-to drink - a balance of sweet and sour and refreshing. Ample amount of lychee and nata de coco too.

The staff are attentive and sent the food fast too, which I always appreciate about Murni outlets.

Overall, I left satisfied. Love the ambience and food quality is up to par with other branches. I'd recommend this branch to anyone who wants the full Murni experience but prefers a quieter, more intimate setting. Perfect for those who want to avoid the usual crowds at the...

First of all, this is my 5th Murni Discovery place that i ever visit.. i have visit the ss2, bdr sri permaisuri, bangi and even cyberjaya.. compared all.. Galloway is the worst for me..

I come for dinner here.. the waiter is okay but dont understand what we said.. everytime we ask he point to the menu.. dont understand what customer ask..

Atmosphere wise is nice.. just parking need to find.. there is no specific parking here.. just parking infront of the shop if available or near housing area..

What most disappointed is the food, yes the food come fast but i always order nasi lemak chicken at all outlet. This by far is the worst. Not even the chicken cold but it look old or fry a lot of time.. not fresh at all.. the taste is not good. Until we have to pack and go.. first time cant even finish my food..

Overall, i would not suggest to come this outlet.. maybe can try...

My husband and I, with our 4 children decided to have early dinner today. We did not do any review prior to coming - and little did we know, their portion was generous! But anyway, apart from our two youngest, all of us managed to finish our meals with not a single waste of delicious food 😆😆😆

That sambal for nasi lemak was worth crying for! My husband had kueyteow kungfu of some sort, nicely seasoned, full of proteins. Chicken buttermilk was just perfect for the tastebuds, and pastas were cooked just the way the boys loved them. Juices were fantastic!

The staffs were helpful, one particularly named Rashel, patiently tend to our children’s requests. The ambience was nice, kids-friendly.

When we were done, we saw other people queuing up outside. Luckily we had come earlier!
