Mamak cafe CapSquare — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

A comfortable tea and food place just at the corner of Capsquare. Been here a few times, and service and food quality varies between day to day. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Food/Drink: They have rice, and dishes. They have the usual roti canai, thosai and such. And also fried items. In the evening, they have hot snacks like samosas, puffs and such. And the usual cold and hot drinks in most mamak food places. Ambience/Location: Location is good and ambience is comfortable. Especially if you sit at the side with more ventilation. Service: Service varies. There was a staff who was amazing. Helped to heat up my samosa before serving. Thank you so much! Then there is another staff who is just standing near customer seats and coughing non stop, without facemask, quite frustrating. I had to chance seats. Price: Acceptable, mid range. When in Capsquare or Dang Wangi area, this is a good shop to have tea, snacks and hang out. Very airy restaurant with open sides for good ventilation. They have nasi kandar mamak mixed rice with lots of dishes. Their fried chicken is tasty. They have the usual other mamak restaurant food items like roti canai, thosai, fried noodles and rice. Was utterly disappointed on the terrible service provided by the wait staff and even the counter person. Majority of the staff are not even capable to understand simple Bahasa Malaysia or English, which made ordering food a hassle. And the counter person is snobbish. He even refused to return my extra payment even though the staff admitted that they overcharged me. Forced me to take food/beverage and still refused to return me the balance....
