Padang on Wheels offers a unique and satisfying dining experience, blending the rich flavors of authentic Padang cuisine with a modern and comfortable setting. The restaurant has multiple branches, each with a similar, inviting ambiance. The decor is often described as "muji-alike" or "aesthetic," with a clean and welcoming atmosphere created by white walls, warm lighting, and touches of exposed brick and greenery. This clean, air-conditioned environment stands in contrast to the typical street-side Nasi Padang stall, making it a great place to enjoy a traditional meal in comfort, whether for a quick lunch or a family gathering. When it comes to the food quality, the general consensus is positive. The extensive selection of over 60 dishes is visually appealing and promises a satisfying meal. Gulai Tunjang is noted as a signature dish. Other popular items like the "ayam goreng" (fried chicken) are praised for being cooked to perfection—moist and juicy on the inside with a wonderfully crispy outer layer. The "paru goreng" (fried beef lung), another favorite, is also well-received, and the "gulai nangka" (jackfruit curry) is noted for having a good texture. A common theme in reviews is that the dishes are flavorful and not overly spicy, catering to a wider audience. The sambal, both red and green, is highly recommended and often a key highlight of the meal. In terms of price, Padang on Wheels is considered to be on the reasonable side for the quality and portion size. A meal for one typically falls within the RM20 to RM40 range, and a meal for a group of four can average around RM90, which is seen as good value for money. The staff services are a standout feature, consistently receiving praise for being friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The service is described as excellent and attentive, with staff members being quick to assist and provide a positive dining experience. This high level of service adds a great deal to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Location-wise, Padang on Wheels has multiple branches, including in Damansara Utama, Shah Alam, and KL's Jalan Kamunting. The Jalan Kamunting outlet even offers a view of the KL Tower, which adds to its appeal. These locations are generally convenient, although parking can be a challenge in some areas, such as Damansara Uptown. Overall, Padang on Wheels is a highly recommended spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Nasi Padang in a comfortable and aesthetically...

Obviously there are already a lot of branches and this is their latest one. Similar menu similar tasting but somehow this branch is elevated in quality. It was all so very good. My tiny bit of advice though if the place is not so packed try get a seating that is not beside their plant. It has small ants. Minor annoyance is all. Quite manageable but bears saying. Will go again definitely. The service is excellent.

Also when we were there one guy was being super difficult. Complaining about having to move seat after he sat down. However their system is quite clear and efficient. When you come in, they ask how many pax you are then they will communicate to see what table is available. They tell you your table number. Then you go to their counter and make your dish selection. The guy-karen sat to book a table when the table was already allocated to another customer. He also looks like the kind of guy to complain on the internet when it is his fault so if he is here somewhere just ignore. The system they have works and the service staff handled everything...

Food was good as always but the services that given to us were terrible.

I brought my mom to the restaurant today and we wanted to sit inside, since the first floor was fulled. I asked whether my family can sit upstairs however the malay girl staff told me it was fulled and we have to sit outside which is fine. But it comes to my disappointment when i went upstairs to bathroom and upstairs was literally almost empty.

The staff should had the delicacy to check wisely for us. I confronted her and the answer she told me was she didn’t know at first.

Not only that, my food takes almost 30 min to arrive without utensils serve. Imagine that, i have to asked almost 5 times just for a utensils and serviette. Hence, one of the dish was not there and we have to explained to the staff what is there and what is not.

So disappointed with the services here.

People paying a lot of money just to get a good food and service here. If we wanted only for a good food we’d be able to get it somewhere else.

Dear management, please improve your arrangements on...
