Hands-down the best fish noodle soup I've had in Malaysia!

It was my first time at this restaurant. They offered a variety of fish types and soup broths, and we were spoilt for choice trying to decide which to go with. My friend had the cheese soup with fish paste, toman fillet and thick meehoon while I had the traditional soup with fried toman fillet and thick meehoon. My first taste of the soup was phenomenal, the milky broth had strong hints of Chinese wine which elevated the depth of flavours and kept me going till the end. This is unusual for me as a small eater.

I also asked for drink recommendations which are less or not sweet and the lady boss recommended soya milk, chin chow and barley. I went with Michael which is a blend of soya milk with chin chow and must say it was not sweet as recommended.

We also tried the marinated pork belly which was tasty and flavorful.

Overall, the food was flavourful, and service was good. The friendliness of the lady boss made us feel at home. We will definitely return away and I already have my eye on the next soup...

Always wanted to try this place as I’m a soup lover.

We ordered the cream cheese and pumpkin based fish soup, which I’ve never known existed before.

The cream cheese one is a little unconventional as some people might say it tastes like western food, but we definitely love it - it’s hearty and wholesome.

As for the pumpkin one, it definitely gives a very homey feeling.

You can also choose the type of fishes, and we chose patin fish which is super soft and tender with no bones.

The lady owner is also very friendly, and while the place is definitely not air-conditioned, but I have no complaints.

All of the soups have a lot flavor, it's like they have multiple pot in the kitchen keeping all these soup boiling.

My personal favourite would be the bittergourd, pumpkin and the cheese soup. But i don't think you will get wrong with any...
