🚗 The Challenge of Parking The only downside? Parking can be a real challenge. We had to circle the area several times before finding a spot. It would be amazing if the restaurant could allocate dedicated parking spaces for its patrons...

Tannin Hill: Superb Tea with Satisfactory Food

In the city center, the charming tea sanctuary known as Tannin Hill awaits, making the short walk to this spot well worth it. Tannin Hill is a warm and comfortable cafe offering a menu with generous tea portions. Whether it's a simple green tea or an exotic blend, their tea is always served in large volumes, ensuring customers can enjoy their tea without feeling rushed.

Alongside their generous drink servings, Tannin Hill also serves delightful food. I highly recommend trying the tofu and chicken teriyaki rice bowl sets. The tofu is excellently prepared, boasting a beautiful elastic consistency that absorbs the rich, sauce-enriched flavor of the teriyaki delightfully. This tofu dish is a full-fledged meal, filled with savory and slightly sweet flavors that will appeal to all guests.

The chicken teriyaki rice bowl set is equally exciting. The chicken is tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned with the same delightful teriyaki sauce. Each set is served with a generous portion of rice, making every bite with chicken or tofu both delightful and satisfying.

My first time there, had a wonderful personal experience. If Google have the option to give 10 stars, I would have given 11. Reasons are as below:

Walked in the cozy store and was immediately greeted with my name and ushered to my table by the lovely waiter.

Ample tea choices that they have. Fragrant and nice to drink (looking forward to try other teas from them).

Food choices can be added (maybe more tea-related dishes? I know it's only your 2nd month, so I look forward to the other future dishes 🤩)

Given on the house: A tea jelly (love that it's not sweet and I can taste the tea), chocolate truffle and tuna tart.

Interior and the mood of the store was warm, inviting and cozy.

*The reason why I put RM 80-100 per pax because I've ordered the set + a cold brew nitro tea, so I spent about RM 100. (You can see prices of their menu on other people's reviews).

** Shout out to Carol, Guan An, Wen Xin and the waiter with glasses (didn't manage to get the name) for the attentive and polite service that was given.
