Service: 1 out of 10 Ok, we were early to this restaurant. Among the first ones there. Here's the issue. Attitude from the lady boss herself. We came in a big group, two tables. Ordered food for a table and told them clearly to replicate for the 2nd table. Guy taking the note heard us, or so he didn't. When the food came, we asked where's the food for the 2nd table and he uttered that we only ordered for 1 table. Entire table hears that we ordered for 2 tables. Ok, so misunderstanding right, ok he says he will slip in our order.
After we finished our first table meal, 2nd table is not out yet after 1.5h. Asked to speak to the lady boss, she comes out grumpily from the kitchen. Instead of saying sorry, she accused us of making the mistake of ordering for 1 table and asked us to wait in line! Ok the 2nd table has kids waiting to eat at 7pm, the least she could do is make amends and put in the ordered for simple dishes first to be served. Iniitally she refused but after telling her that there are kids she grumpily acknowledge and 15 mins later egg omelette was out only, then another 15mins later the rest of the dishes started coming slowly. So you be the judge of this bad service.
Food flavor: 3 out of 10 Food wise, it is just OK. Not that authentic tasting. Very average Thai food, more Malaysian Thai than authentic Thailand tasting. Price is super steep for fish (around 55 for 800g or so). Oh by the way the food portion is miniscule, pandan chicken came out as 10 tablespoon worth of meat to a dish.
Price: please upgrade them to $$$ instead of $$ as the portions are so small, averagely each dish is 14 to 18rm. Seafood goes up to 30 and beyond.
Overall: Basically the entire first time experience is spoilt and all of us vow to not go back to this bad service shop with a...
Read moreFood good but a lil on the pricey side and it can be slightly warm on a v hot day.
They have set lunch on a signboard at 9.90 however if you flip their menu (set lunches pictures attached) maybe because its expensive to change signboards, their set lunch starts from RM10.90 till as the pictures mentioned).
We ordered the 2 pax lunch set and we are super full and their food is good. Oh yes, they have option of 'less spicy' for non-Malaysian tastebuds, remember to inform the waiter / waitress. The Red Ruby a lil hard to bite on.
Will come back again for dinner as they only do BBQ stuff only at night.
1000% non-halal.
Also, when I am there, the restaurant's employees do eat their food from the menu, so I guess they are legit hahaha....
Hard to find parking as it is the famous Jalan Ipoh main road, however accessible via the MRT yellow line (Putrajaya line heading towards Kwasa Damansara direction) to get down at Sentul Barat Pintu C and walk straight to the restaurant...
