Restoran Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur is truly a gem loved by both locals and visitors alike. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu or recommend dishes, making it easy for first-time guests to feel at home. Even though it has a strong local vibe, the atmosphere is welcoming to foreigners, which is one of its biggest charms.
The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the famous chili crab. The thick, flavorful chili sauce, infused with fluffy egg ribbons, was absolutely irresistible. The sweet, spicy, and slightly tangy sauce perfectly complemented the fresh, meaty crab, making every bite a joy. The crab meat was plump and juicy, and breaking the shells felt like part of the fun. Don’t forget to dip some bread or mantou into the sauce—you’ll want to savor every last drop.
Other seafood and vegetable dishes we tried were equally satisfying, with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices are surprisingly affordable. In Japan, a chili crab of this quality would be quite expensive, but here, you can indulge without worrying about your wallet.
With its spacious seating, lively atmosphere, and a perfect combination of great taste, warm service, and reasonable prices, Restoran Stadium Negara is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious seafood in Kuala Lumpur. Highly...
Read moreMost of the food was very mediocre save one or two dishes which was average. The chicken wings on the other hand were a solid ten. They even employ the elderly and the place itself is rustic, it even has great parking. However, then the bill comes and you start to have this sinking feeling that you were just scammed.
Exorbitantly overpriced food and drinks coupled with measly servings leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. Some of their seafood is more expensive than some iconic restaurants in the Klang Valley with the added disadvantage of measely servings.
Be wary and ask the price clearly for every item and don't let thier friendly service let your guard down.
3 Bottles of beer, drinks and food for 3 people cost us just slightly under 600 RM.
Ridiculous by any standard.
Having have had dined here many times whenever we had to, due to our Muslim friend being with us, this unfortunately will be our last. Alas, even if it means foregoing their absolutely fantastic...

My first visit to Restoran Stadium Negara was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers authentic Chinese cooking that truly impressed me. I decided to try a few simple dishes, and each one was a testament to the quality and tradition of their cuisine. The strong wok hei in every dish added a distinct, mouthwatering flavor that made the food taste exceptionally good (Hokkian Mee is a bit salty)
The restaurant is neatly divided into air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas, catering to different preferences. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, providing a comfortable dining environment.
