My family's favourite Japanese restaurant in town!
Food: The ingredients are fresh with natural seasoning. Their unagi and salmon are standout dishes with thicker cuts and less boney compared to other Japanese restaurants in similar price range. Every bite is rich, flavorful, and satisfying.
Price: The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and diverse menu options. For the best value, go for the lunch set that offers a larger portion and a great selection of dishes.
Service: The staff are attentive to each table, very polite, and easy to communicate with, making the dining experience smooth and pleasant.
Ambience: The restaurant has a very a cozy and spacious atmosphere with ample seating. Love the cherry blossom deco and the nice modern bar table. Perfect for friends & family gathering, casual meetups, or a relaxing solo meal.
Membership Perks: Don’t forget to sign up for their free loyalty program! Earn points with every visit and enjoy exclusive rewards, including free food and vouchers for our next meal.
Suggestions for Improvement:
It would be great to provide some sugar free mint candies at the counter, helping customers to refresh their palate and eliminate any fishy aftertaste.
Overall Rating : 9.5/10 A fantastic spot for authentic Japanese cuisine, offering great taste, generous portions, and a welcoming ambiance—all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Read moreI went in around 11am...I understand I dine alone but they lead me to a four seater table, which I already asked the usher is that ok I occupied this four seater table.... I even suggest them maybe can split to 2 table because I don't want to waste the sitting, but how ever the usher said is fine.
after seated down, I go through the grand menu as I wanted to had some nice air flown sashimi, but however I been notified by waiter said that there is a set lunch menu..and hint me to order set lunch...which I did because none of the air flown fish is available.
after all I ordered a set lunch and sake, enjoying my lunch.... notice that getting more customers coming in but however there is still many vacant table ( is Monday lunch, and I also in the hospitality industry, I know how to justify whether the restaurant is full or not ), the manager ( I assume... because she the only floor staff without uniform ) come to me ask for clear my table even my hand still holding a piece of suika and my chawan mushi still barely touched.
I still let her clear and settle the bill then left the restaurant.... the only curious for me is single diner not deserve to enjoy a nice lunch....must be higher spending customer deserve to occupied ? btw I already asked them to split the table instead of 4 seater to 2 seater.
hope you can seriously looking into this matter, or maybe can increase single diner...

Arrived at 2:30pm sharp for the much-advertised “buffet.” For nearly RM200 per person (excluding alcohol), you’d think it’s a spread. Instead, here’s what you’re signing up for:
A miso soup, 1 salad, and some edamame to warm things up, sushi “boat” featuring the classics: salmon sushi (the very definition of okay), inari, tamago, and a roll or two, couple king oyster mushroom and chicken skewers, plus a soba to round things off.
And that’s… basically the buffet. Hope you weren’t expecting to roll home stuffed.
Then comes the main attraction: the grand bluefin tuna show. By show, I mean mostly a live TED Talk on tuna anatomy, an auction for the head, and dramatic showcase of the fish head. Actual tuna for guests? Well, let’s just say by 4:30pm, two hours in, we were still tuna-less. But hey, at least we learned which part of the fish is the cheek.
So yes, RM199 for a masterclass in patience, light snacking, and some impromptu fish trivia. Five stars if you came for a lecture. One star if you came for a buffet.
So yes, it’s “eat all you can.” If only you...
