Read moreWe ordered a lunch set each which is a better deal than the sets stated in the menu. And we added on sushi for good measure 😉 the set we ordered came with 3 pcs of sashimi for an additional 10 bucks compared to a lunch set without. If ordered the sashimi of 5 pcs ala carte is more expensive. Good deal?? 🤔 the grilled salmon in teriyaki sauce tasted better than the mayonnaise based but actually both are good. The salmon piece is meaty 👍🏻 the sets came with cawanushi and miso soup so quite a good deal as can try without ordering separately. Next are the sushis, some are not pricey but some are exorbitant and eye popping. The ikura maki is 22 bucks a piece while a sea urchin sushi is 48 bucks a pop. 😩but can say they are good though as tasted fresh and solid. The rice doesn’t crumble easily. Free green tea refills are provided here. There are many options from rice to noodle to sushi and sashimi and bentos. Sure you can find something worth eating here. Seats are spacious and well spaced ensuring some privacy. There are counter seats too if you would like to watch the sushi chef doing their thing. Decor isn’t fantastic but attractive enough. 🇯🇵 food isn’t cheap in 🇲🇾 and this is a more expensive option but imo it’s still worth a try. For 2 persons, total bill came up...
Read moreThis is by far one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. It is very well designed and the quality is above par. I would like to emphasise more on the food, one of which is the marinated beef with rice. It has a very distinct taste that comprises of smokiness along with tenderness and juicyness of the beef. Along with it is high quality rice and stir fried vegetables that complete the rice set. Other than that, the ebi tempura is also a great choice in the menu because of it's perfect crunchyness while also being nicely and evenly battered. The ebi itself has a very nice and soothing taste. Besides that, the salmon sashimi tastes very delicate and has a nice texture compared to other restaurants in the area. It tastes fresh and does not look or taste frozen at all! Lastly, there is also the beef sukiyaki which is a classic Japanese dish that really satisfied me in my dining experience, the broth is very savoury and full of flavour while still being soothingly nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fairly decent with Japanese architectural aesthetics and the staff is very friendly and polite. In conclusion, it is a must go eatery whenever you go to TRX Exchange due to it's high quality food items and quality service...
