Secret Recipe - Hartamas Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Used to come to this place quite often since I live nearby! But very disappointed with service today this is gonna be my last visit. I have ordered garlic bread and some of other things. But the garlic bread was made from bun it’s very soft and not even toasted. I have tried one piece of it and I didn’t really like it because it was really soft. And I wanted to cancel it. I have called a waitress to cancel for me and explained the situation. She took the plate and spoke to the manager and came back with plate saying we can’t cancel because u ate one piece and I said of course I need to try first to know the taste right if I don’t eat how to try?! And she said if u didn’t eat we could cancel my manager said. I requested to call the manager, he came and he said the same thing. I said how could u make a garlic bread from so soft bun? Then he said in very rude way ok never mind I cancel for u. The waitress was looking at me very badly and they were talking about me I could hear. Actually it’s not even about price, it was only 5rm. I could pay that extra 5rm but it doesn’t even worth it for 5rm. Straight away I felt uncomfortable I have paid my bill for the rest orders and I didnt even eat and left. This is really unprofessional management! Since I work in F&B I know the rules very well. U r making money from customers, u always need to make customer happy so they will come back to u. First of all i would like to compliment to the girl who served me very kind every time i came and her wording is very beautiful ❤️

But … this is not my first time here, having a bad services with the guy that very kind at first . Tak kisah kau nak bercakap dengan aku macam kawan kau but pls, jangan sampai layan aku ni macam kawan kau as i am ur customer !

I want to booked for pickup tmmr so that i just came and pickup the cake cause i will be in hurry tmr .. also that time they were busy and im okay to wait ..

But the guy yang lembut lembut with kemeja hitam said “ datang esok je , kek masih ada esok “ with a bad pronounce and he said this twice like tf .. im ur customer bro , you dont seem like a staff as you wear kemeja hitam non like other but idk and IDC . Kerja tu jangan nak jeling orang je !

Day after tmmr, the guy name hatta (foreigner) served me and he looks like dont know much about system and how to serve the customer but nvmd i dont blame him .

hatta asked the kemeja guy to do the wording but the kemeja guy said “ busy busy “ ITS 11.40am kot , mall bukak pukul 10am kau masuk kerja 10am ke ?? untuk opening tak cukup waktu ke macam mana ? Tolong...

Sorry I have to write bad review. I went during Ramadhan and I think they are understaffs. At 630pm, as the 2 staffs were busy at the counter, I walked to one of the staffs and show him the menu that I wanted to order. He straight away said this is for Buka Puasa only and then I showed him the dinner set is from 6pm onwards. Then he said sorry, ok nevermind. But what got me very dissapointed is that my food only came at about 720pm. I know I have to follow the food queue but I think they could have a better understanding that we are not fasting and they could have prepare our food first. When I went to check with the staffs at about 7pm, I passed by a reservation table with no diners yet but their food are already on the table. Maybe they were late but I think this is very unhygenic as the food were not covered. And the staffs should not serve the food before the diners have arrive. Sorry but they should have a better time management and also my mistake to dine in here during Ramadhan. Anyway, the mamak mee goreng is delicious ; just enough to cover the dissappointed I had with this outlet but sorry no more next time with...
