I had a very unpleasant experience with this Indian staff who claims himself as a Manager. Firstly, all their Parmesan Oregano breads are burnt to crispy and he dares to give to a customer. Secondly, there are no much veggies left, no lettuce, no cucumber etc etc. Thirdly, when I told him about it, as I was watching him preparing the order, the bread was basically chipping off. It was so dry, so I ask him let me try, when I tried it was miserably burn. I asked him to change the bread. On another note, when there is no any veggies still I paid full amount. What a day light robbery!! Yet, he wasn’t accommodating with respect or kindness. Instead being a manager, above all it’s F&B, he was so rude towards me, keep answering back roughly, preparing my food with banging the oven, banging the steel table top. As if he owns the subway outlet. I asked for his superior number cause I find him really rude and not suitable for a customer service job, above all he is Manager of the outlet. Such a shame!! The recent staff in Hartamas have ZERO customer service. Why zero? I didn’t get served at all despite the shop being empty. On Monday at approximately 8.21pm, I saw a hand written note on the food display area saying they will be done with breaking their fast (Ramadan fasting) at 8.05pm. Totally understandable. The man on his phone by the cashier then says that they will only open at 9pm because they are breaking their fast. Firstly, he wasn’t even eating at that time and I didn’t realise they get 1 1/2 hours to breakfast? Otherwise, I’d like to work at subway too!
So on Wednesday, at approximately 9.20pm, I go there again thinking I’d get served this time. Again, no one was there. But these two people working there were ‘too busy’ sweeping the floor and one was on his phone in the kitchen but then decided he was too busy for us. The staff was unfriendly and impatient — I simply asked for a bit more vegetables in my salad, and was met with a cold, moody response from a staff member with a dark expression, saying it requires an add-on and needs to be weighed. I’ve been a loyal Subway customer across many branches, but this is the first time I’ve ever encountered such poor attitude and terrible service.
Not only was the service bad, but the portion was shockingly small — the photo clearly shows how shallow the filling is. This branch gave me the worst impression by far.
