Oriental Treats From The Comforts of Home
Service: We placed the order via their website & was delivered by Lalamove
Packaging: Nothing much to rave about with very ordinary take away boxes
Stir-Fried Radish Cake (RM 9.80)
Taste: The radish cake was crispy yet slightly charred on the outside and had a smooth texture within fried with a generous amount of crunchy beansprouts & garlic resulting in a fragrant and flavourful dish
Price: Reasonable 🙆🏻♀️
‘Cheong Fun’ with ‘Char Siew’ (RM 9.80)
Taste: The skin of the cheong fun was smooth, chewy & filled with fragrant char siew with the accompanying fresh vegetables delivering a delightful crunch. Finished off with a generous amount of soy sauce.

Porridge with Century Egg & Meat (RM 11.80)
Taste: The texture of the porridge was very smooth & had a generous amount of century egg & meat drizzled with spring onions and completed with crunchy dough fritters.
Price: Fairly Reasonable 🙆🏻♀️
Scallop Jade Dumpling (RM 12.80)
Taste: The dish consisted of a very crunchy shrimp as the base topped with a scallop which was so soft & tender that we initially mistook it for cream wrapped in a chewy skin & finished with fish roe.
Price: Reasonable 🙆🏻♀️
Snow Mountain ‘Char Siew Bao’ (RM 10.80)
Taste: The Char Siew Bao was crusty on the outside with the slightest hint of sweetness & filled with fragrant smokey charsiew within.
Price: Fairly Reasonable 🙆🏻♀️
Deep-Fried Smoked Duck & Prawn Spring Roll (RM 9.80)
Taste:The spring rolls arrived crispy & the prawns were extremely sweet, fresh & crunchy. The smoked duck did a wonderful job of neutralising the sweetness from the prawns resulting in a well balanced savoury dish.
Price: Fairly Reasonable 🙆🏻♀️
Recommended? Delicious and flavourful treats from the comfort of home. What more could one ask for? 🙆🏻♀️

The Han Room 满漢城酒家 is a popular restaurant for both locals and tourists who love dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Located on the 3rd floor of The Gardens Mall, the restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes that are inspired by Chinese culinary history and global trends. The restaurant has a spacious, elegant and festive ambience, making it a great place to host celebrations or enjoy casual dining with friends and family.
I have visited The Han Room twice, and both times I was impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The dim sum menu features classic items like egg tarts, char siew pau, siew mai, har kau, phoenix claws, fishballs, steamed pork ribs and chicken porridge, as well as novel creations like crispy prawn chee cheong fun, scallop siew mai, abalone siew mai, century egg siew mai and pumpkin rice with seafood. The dishes are served in generous portions and are accompanied by a range of condiments and dipping sauces that enhance the flavours. The restaurant also offers other signature dishes like Peking duck with piggy bun, steamed deep-sea garoupa with stuffed clams, fish maw, seng kwa and glass noodles in casserole, and fried Hokkien thick noodles. All the dishes are cooked to perfection and use fresh and premium ingredients. The restaurant also provides a pot of fragrant jasmine tea to complement the meal.
The service at The Han Room is courteous and attentive. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they are quick to refill the tea and clear the plates. The restaurant also has a convenient parking area, which is easier to find than the parking at Mid Valley Mall. The prices at The Han Room are on the higher end, but they are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I would recommend The Han Room to anyone who is looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dim sum and Cantonese...

Call to make a reservation and ask for a room for 16 pax. They told me that minimum spending is MYR 2,500. Upon arrival, when we placing our order, the person told us is min MYR 2,500 per table. I explained to him nicely that over the phone, i was told MYR 2,500 is the minimum spending, no one mention about per table. I actually called twice to confirm!
RUDE Staff, felt like i got harassed in front of the staff.
He later said, no, we never said that. If you dont want, there are a lot of people waiting outside to sit this room. You can choose to sit outside. He makes you feel like if you cannot afford, dont eat in the room, can sit outside. Finally he said he is okay for us to order food total amount that close to MYR 5,000 in total, dont have to be above MYR 5,000.
Server is like chasing us away.
Dinner starts 8pm, the food that served by them as if they are rushing to get off from work. The server kept stand beside you and want to clean away your plate. Without even asking if you are done.
The 2 stars I gave are due to the food quality. However overall experience makes you feel like you are begging them for food.
Han Room belongs to the Oriental Group, i always love their food and services, but this Han Room is a no go for me.
NOT recommending anyone to eat here. Now i know the reason of the rating of other restaurants under Oriental Group is higher. Management has a lot of work to do to...
