Well, definitely there are some things you all need to put more work on. I’ve been into this restaurant many times and usually I have the Warung selection, Sup Kambing for dinner as it is simple, fast and sumptuous. You may ask the waiter in charge outside cause he always diligently takes my order.
For tonight I’ve thought of bringing my wife for buka puasa so we opted for the cafe menu. I’m not really surprised of the waiting time as I had the same experience when having Banana Leaf lunch with my colleagues earlier last month. We waited for more less 30 minutes to have the first plate served.
And tonight the same thing happened but worse. Got a strip of plastic in my burger, which is very very concerning. My wife decided to have her food packed up for take away instead of waiting longer (about 40 minutes).
The highlight is not the disappointment, but actually the gestures that have been showed by the manager, Mr Leonardo and his staffs. It’s hard to find a crew who own their mistakes and take constructive feedbacks nowadays. They took our tabs, apologized and give me his name card. It does change my perceptions on the disservice.
Fairly I believe you all have the potential and can improve a lot in the near future. Start with the kitchen efficiency so customers won’t wait more than 20 minutes.

Read moreI had a bad experience during our dinner on 14th December, around 8pm. We had a farewell dinner for our colleague. Most of the food we ordered were not available. Even the most common one - Coke, are not available, Nasi Beryani, no chilli flakes and the list goes on. One of your waiter was rude to my friend too. Is this normal for a 4 stars hotel restaurant?
We had an issue with the parking too. The card was issued and endorsed by the receptionist. We had to went up twice to re-endorsed again but still failed to exit the parking. The intercom doesn’t work. Don’t you have someone to work on standby? Had to call up the Hotel to send someone to attend us.
Two people came and asking us the same question. Are we hotel guest? Until we had lost our patience and asked them to open the barrier provided with the parking ticket. It was very late at night and we have wasted our 30 minutes just to get someone to assist us.
Seriously I didn’t expect this to happen especially during our farewell dinner for my colleague.

There was a very long strand of hair (approx. 30+cm) in the sunny side up my mother was having. When we inform the waiter, all he did was just clean the plate, which was the entire egg, without any apologies. We had to check/request if we could have a replacement, in which the waiter had a very displeased look on his face as if we were the ones in the wrong. The waiter did inform his manager but NO ONE took any actions and there was not a single apology from any of the staff.
After which another waitress then decided to refill our glasses of water. And to our dismay there were food shreds in the jug of water that was poured into our cups!
It was a terrible experience and we hope they can improve on this.
