We visited ToastHouzz on 21 June 2025 and observed a full house at 9 AM. The captain, Mr. Tham, demonstrated excellent customer service by quickly splitting a partially occupied 4-pax table into two 2-pax tables to accommodate smaller groups. He also informed us that he would arrange a bigger table for our group (2 adults and 2 babies) as soon as the neighboring table became available. While this flexibility was a great experience from the customers' perspective, it resulted in some confusion within their order system later. Nonetheless, thumbs up to Mr. Tham for his swift and thoughtful actions.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique, with creative touches such as menus held by wooden rulers. Price-wise, it leans toward the higher side, but the quality and experience justify it.
The toast bread is the dry and crispy variety, which we enjoyed. The kopi kiam-C was perfectly prepared, and the peanut butter toast was thin yet packed with the aroma of peanut and salty butter—delicious and satisfying.
As for the main items: ToastHouzz Sandwich (RM16): This sandwich featured a fried egg wrapped with ham and topped with lettuce, all enclosed between thick, crispy toast. It was hearty and flavorful.
Cheese Ham Toast (RM8): This dish included thick toast bread stacked with ham, cheese, and mayonnaise, offering a simple yet satisfying combination.
ToastHouzz Set (RM13.90): This set came with coffee, two probiotic eggs, and kaya butter toast, making it a well-rounded breakfast option.
Overall, ToastHouzz delivers a great dining experience with creativity, good food, and commendable service. While prices are slightly above average, the quality and atmosphere make it...
Read moreEdit: 17/09/2022 Lesser diner today, probably due to they slightly increased the price. Service is good today, even remind us if put parking coupon, food serve fast today.
Food taste better than last visit, drink not ok for us. However, my stomach NOT feeling well now.
Between not sure if owner read other's reviews, I saw small cockroach on the table, too fast remove cockroach and paying time there are other diners so not right timing tell owner (owner should know if I told truth not), please do something, dropped to 1 star as personally cant tolerate hygiene issue. Don't feel to go again.
23/04/2022 Weekends they're rather short handed compared to the old time before rebranded to ToastHouzz (used to be regular before covid). Most customers have to wait half an hour for breakfast meesiam and kaya toast.
Toast bit over toasted I would say, and the hot drink not as expected. I can see there is 1 customer sitting at two tables, so one family saw no place for dining and left. Hope can improve the taste first.
If dining inside, the sound from customers chatting is kinda loud, not sure they able to improve the sound...
Read moreToat was ok but its on the expensive side. A set of toast is actually just a one hailam breads (sliced into two thin piece) sandwich together and cut into half, with kaya and butter RM 5.90.. French toast was 6.50 (I think) but was nothing to shout about. Cheese toast was worse as it was just a slice of bread with one slice of sandwich cheese cut into 4 piece sold at rm6+. Other main was not up to expectation. Chicken seemed to be frozen/marinated too long that it has lost its taste, and looked like plastic.. Chao kuetiau seems to be like normal fry kuetiau u eat in hotel buffets for breakfast. Prepare cash as they dont accept card. Its a nice place to sit and have coffee while you do your work, but def not if you're...
