Lai Kee Soya Bean — Restaurant in Perak

We came during the public holidays and noticed the Funny Mountain Taufufa was crowded and having a super long queue. Tired and thirsty under the hot sun, we went to this soya shop just nearby.

There was no queue, and we got to have seats and enjoyed our soya drink and taufufa 😍 They offered both 黃豆 (the normal one - yellow bean) and 黑豆 (the special one that we seldom see fresh made and sold in store - black bean, unless you go for premium soya shops) for the soya drink. Both tasted great and just right as in not too sweet!

For the taufufa, we ordered the ginger sugar and we fell in love with it 🤣 that we top up our order. If compared to Funny Mountain, their ginger sugar is much stronger, to our likings as we are both ginger lovers 🙈

First time came here on 23/4/23. Fantastic hospitality attitude by the young enthusiastic lady boss. Must support her business bcos she puts her heart & soul & passion into serving customers with zeal & zest. Tried all her soy products & love them all. I even treated all the tables whom are strangers to me as a delight of joy. There are 5 tables & can seat 20 to 30 pax. I will definitely return here if I do visit Ipoh again. I prefer this compared to Funny Mountain as the portions are bigger and prices are reasonable. Taufu fah here is also very smooth. They also have the taufu fah in ginger sugar and brown sugar. Both I tried and it taste good. The kwai lin gou also taste good. Not too bitter like others. Can eat without adding sugar or honey syrup.
