Considering that there are many Google reviewers who are pretty vocal of this highlighted restaurant, I shall not repeat the same information in a very detailed manner.

Summary: Parking spaces available specifically for dine in. (Walk across the street to reach the restaurant) Began operation since 2011, in which they emphasises onto the oldies of Ipoh kopitiam style (elders of age 40 and above would fancy such venue) Background music includes the classic hits of Chinese and Japanese song (ones I've heard of, but too young to identify the song name, yet knowing it's one of the feats during their time) Offers variety of kopitiam food from rice to noodles, with the options of ice kacang desserts and fruit and butter cakes. (Special highlight towards their coffee serving which comes with two piece of biscuit, my first encounter throughout the years of living) Price wise is slightly on higher end as compared to plainer and simpler kopitiam style. But their location, parking spot facility and ambiences does play a role to justify their price.

Overall a worthy place to drop by for a comfort food pick to satisfy your local cravings, especially onto ones you need to deal with matters within the old town area and yet not needing to worry onto wasting time in looking...

Quite a busy place and there have been good and bad reviews. Thought I investigate to see what it was like. Seating arrangements: Some are more comfortable than others, side seating best. Ambience is good. Service: Good(Watch out if you order mains with desserts as they would bring them all over together if you don't tell them to serve the desserts after mains). Foods: Average if not poor or a "bad day" from the chefs? Ordered: Dry curry noodles, wan tan mee, noodles soup, bun, ice kacang, chendol and another dessert. Most hot foods served were lukewarm. Dry curry noodles looked as if they were from the soup curry used(Not exactly like the picture)?. Wan tan noodles(not exactly the Wan Tan noodles you normally would have) and Noodles soup, all were just ordinary. Ice Kacang is good and the other two desserts were mediocre. Bun was heated up via Microwave. Price: Satisfactory. Toilet facilities: Not seen but was told there is only one small unisex toilet. Would I go again?: Probably not...

The food was just okay. It has lost its very initial "prime days". When it just opened, the food was good. Apart from the frothy coffee drinks, I personally think the rest of the items on the menu can be done without.

I must mention that I really did not like the service here. There was not sufficient attention received: we came in first but another table which came later was being attended to.

So we had to signal to the staff to come over MANY times when she was attending to the other table. When she finally did, she was not happy. Also, when she was speaking, it was not clear - so we had to ask her nicely to repeat a few times. She thought we were making a fool of her and she started to raise her voice. But honestly, we had no bad intentions AT ALL. We got served with a long face through out.

This was indeed an unhappy /...

A hidden gem in Ipoh Old Town area. This coffeeshop-esque restaurant deserves more recognition for the food and drinks it serves, the service provided by the crew and the old school atmosphere that’s in the shop. The teh and “ho ka sai” (mixed coffee with milo) is one of the more fragrant ones that we have drank in Ipoh. The Black Vinegar Pork Trotter and Hokkien Prawn Noodle is very authentic and delicious tasting as well. The service provided by the crew is on another level. When we were attempting to take our own photos in the shop, not only did they not stop us, but they even brought us to the photogenic places in the shop to take photos. They even play the old songs from the 1900s (early half of the century) to help accentuate the atmosphere and our dining experience. 10/10 will recommend.

Tried out this coffeeshop and surprisingly not too bad at all. Inside its old fashion style with lots of woody stuff. We tried the chee cheong fun both curry and plain style and conclude both are good. The curry pork skin is, well, not the type am used to. The taufoofa based is mixed slightly with ginger unlike the usual sugar based syrup. Still ain’t too bad, easy to slurp as its smooth. The drinks are ok, I guess. The coffee is quite kau, bit bitter if thats how you like it. Price wise, not overly expensive. They have 2 outlets too in klang valley.
