Pho Vietz @ 1 Utama — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Used to come here a lot but because usually a lot of people, so don't go much these days. However I went a week ago, and while the food was more or less the same, one of your staff was bad.

Your self-write order sheets have a very small remark box, so I wrote something for the banh mi order. However, I thought it would be better to just remind the waiter.

We weren't requesting a lot, we just told him we would like to order extra rice (didn't see the option on the menu) to which he rudely "YEAH YEAH YEAH". I then reminded on the remark on te bahnmi ( I put no coriander and with such a small box.. i wasn't sure he could read it).. He replied again and YEAH YEAH YEAH and then snatched the menus off the table.

Seriously what the hell? We were courteous and all, I noticed he was in a very bad mood and he was also talking rudely to his co workers. Please don't take it out on your customers.

He was a thin guy, I think he was of Indian nationality based on his accent? You guys don;'t have nametags so I could only describe...

Quite pleasant dining ambience with soft lighting. The traditional beef stew comes with a small portion of rice, soup and a small portion of chicarron or pork skin crackling. The stew is tomato based and tasted quite refined and the beef chunks are tender while the chicarron is dashed with sour condiments, making it a great combination of texture and taste. The dried pork vermicelli is quite nice with a sweet, salty, sour and umami sauce to be tossed yourself, rightly due to the presence of fish sauce while the steamed rice rolls with pork wasn't a bad order either. However, the pork noodle soup is just like any other pork noodle soups, not much flair and excitement. I find their prices to be fair.

Taste factor: 7.5/10 Return factor: I would probably be ordering their signature namesake and bahn mi on...

Handicapped patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this restaurant without problem.
