Wasn’t had any reservation there but just walk in since I stay in Avante hotel. They direct us to a sit towards the backend. Before we sit down, we felt that we would like to sit near to live band. Understand that there’s function near the live band, thus we choose a place that we felt comfortable. We waited quite long to get a menu , as we seeing newcomers who later than us get a menu first. So I just look around to get a waiter to get us the menu, but nobody sees us and I look at the manager here (well that time I still don’t know he’s the manager). I can see he just sit beside the live band and stare at us for so long, but didn’t even ask a staff to get a menu for us. (But afterwards when other people come, he get menus for other customer ). Okay well I think may be we just walk in but not by reservation basis so their services different I think?. But just the beginning is really spoil the mood. The interesting part, we wanted to place an order. The waiter and the manager (white colour shirt& looks like Malay) come and the waiter ask: order wine? Then we say “no ya”. Wow the manager was so realistic and directly run away from my table. I was like “what the heck, so realistic.” The mood to order whisky totally gone and since this is to celebrate my husband birthday, I really plan to chao off but my husband is very good person he say just don’t care them. Okay well, I don’t want to order whisky since they are kind of “look down”. So we proceed just to order the food and I wish to run away from this restaurant ASAP. May be the mood is quite ruined by their service , I was not so happy. When we leave the restaurant, nobody even say “bye” to us in fact few waiters see us leaving. Won’t come back here again & the service was so lousy. But I had to say, some of the waiters really nice . The atmosphere and food was nice . Read moreThere has been miscommunication on reservation date on both sides, somehow the date captured by the restaurant is the following day of intended corporate dining event (27th April rather than 26th April). Our whole team of 34 people has appeared on the 26th April, we were both shocked, as expected, to find out about this issue. However, the restaurant manager Jules, still accommodated us, he called the restaurant chef who was off on that day to inform about the scenario and he came is such an instant. Complementary drinks were even served to us while the food is being prepared, and it took not too long for them serve the meal in good quality and the dietary requirements of the team has also been considered. The team has enjoyed the ambience of the place, the excellent service of the staff and especially the flavorful food (it's worth the price). We would like to express our gratitude to Jules and his whole team in providing such an excellent customer service, despite the issue, they managed to turnaround in such a short notice without comprising the level of quality of the food...
