Ah, myBurgerLab – where burger dreams are sandwiched between inky black buns and juicy, unapologetically pink patties. After all these years, the Sunway outlet still holds its crown as one of the best burger joints. Everything here is just chef’s kiss perfection, from portion size to taste.
Let’s address the (pink) elephant in the room – yes, the beef patties can look quite rare. Don’t be alarmed if yours arrives with a blush. This isn’t a sign of undercooking, but rather the medium-rare magic many beef lovers swear by. For peace of mind, remember that a perfectly safe burger patty has reached an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
The patty itself is house-made, flavour-packed, and delightfully meaty. Nestled between their signature charcoal-black buns, it’s a bite that’s hard to beat. Drinks are self-serve and refillable – always a plus when your burger has a little extra kick and you need a top-up to keep going.
While still holding strong, the outlet is showing its age a little. It may not be sparkling clean or freshly spruced, but it’s got that well-worn charm of a spot that’s seen plenty of burger joy (and possibly a few spilt sauces). Seating is casual, functional, and just fine for a quick, satisfying bite.
Parking, however, is where things get a bit medium rare. With Sunway University just across the street, daytime visits can be a challenge. Your best bet? Swing by for dinner – easier parking, calmer vibes, and no student traffic jam to navigate.
In short, myBurgerLab Sunway continues to deliver where it counts – mouthwatering burgers, bold flavours, and no-nonsense, indie burger joint energy. Come hungry, come curious – and maybe bring a...
Read moreFood is absolutely great, I would recommend getting the Awesome Fries as it's fried to perfection, and the huge garlic pieces satiates my love for garlic. The dipping sauce for fries is also really good and they give free refills, you just have to ask for it at the food collection counter. Though not the biggest portion, the Onion Lover burger tastes just like its name, and contains deep fried onion and also raw onion. I feel like this burger would be complete if only they added caramelized onion to it. The best burger I've tried here thus far is the Chuck Norris, a beef burger that's not stingy with its meat portion at all. If you have a tiny stomach, this is not one to take on, but it's sooooo good. I wish I could have it for the first time again.
Customer service was as awesome as their Awesome Fries. Without batting an eye, the cashier gave us a Taylor's student discount upon observing my lanyard. It was a whopping 10%!!! Overall the atmosphere was fine, it's got just enough space to fit customers but it can feel cramped at rush hour. But the great thing about this location is that you can easily takeout and eat somewhere nearby, like Rock Cafe. Besides their toilets are really hygienic, complete with functional soap and tissue dispensers. I only wish that they had a rubbish step-bin instead of a rotating cover as I do not want to get my hands dirty right after washing.
10/10, this eatery is highly recommended. It's my favourite burger chain by far. It tops McD, Burger King, and any commercial chains that you can think of. You will...

The chicken burger got budu mayo & jalapeño relish. It is excellent. The bun is fluffy, the chicken patty is crispy. The creamy, spicy condiments plus chopped coriander leaf, somehow reminds me of nasi kerabu with ayam percik. Such an amazing, layered, explosive flavor. This is a non conventional burger done right. A very Malaysian flavor, on a simple, western dish which is a burger. What a combo.
The beef burger also great. The patty is juicy. Well seasoned. Abit surprised because it doesn't have a slice slab of beef brisket like other places, its more like a pulled beef. Not complaining because it taste very good. Lots of savoury flavor. But a different name like "pulled beef burger" or heck, even "serunding burger" (due to how packed in flavor the brisket is) would be more reflective of what I'm eating.
Add chicken chilli on the side. Also very good. Not too soury/tomatoey.
Great meal, with friendly & prompt service, this is definitely one of my top spot for burgers. Can't...
