ImPasta — Restaurant in Sliema

I was really looking forward to visit and try this restaurant. Unfortunatelly I left a little bit disappointed with food and service in this place. Pasta was nothing special as promoted. Also my order was mixed and I didn't get type of pasta I ordered. I agreed to eat spaghetti as I was hungry and could not wait more. Once order was placed it took a long time for it to arrive to the table even though restaurant was practically empty at that point. I had carbonara and taste of the sauce was not authentic. It was a bit tasteless and "watery" not creamy as it should be. Staff was nice and polite but not so concentrated at the moment. Interior is nice and clean and that was what I liked the most at this place. It is pricey for the amount of pasta and experience...

For sure I won’t come back because the service specially from the main chef was the worst I have experienced in Malta, the food delicious but his attitude is extremely rude. When you go to a place to eat Pasta you want a recommendation of which sauce is better for each pasta, specially if you have to choose your own. And when I wanted to ask, he literally refused to give me one 🤷🏽‍♀️Plus at the end I went to give them a polite feedback and he started to speak bad about me in Italian thinking that I don’t understand and actually I speak Italian, absurd. I was looking for pasta place that serve cacio e pepe, and this place popped up, it was a 13min walks from my hotel so of course I took the stroll... when you get there they ask you to pick out your pasta, if you want it as a starter or main and then you pick the sauce, my pasta was delicious cook to perfection, the chief cooked it right there, you literally were able to see the store process, the place is decorated well with its menus on a back wall, the server and the cashier were super friendly.
