Perfect café experience with a great location and excellent service! I had the pleasure of visiting MEXA CAFETERÍA DE BARRIO, and it was an amazing experience! My Flat White was perfectly prepared—creamy, aromatic, and made with great attention to detail. You can really tell that the baristas here know their craft. The café is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the Lagoon of Bacalar and the historic Fort San Felipe. After a stroll along the lagoon or a visit to the pirate fortress, this is the perfect spot to take a relaxing coffee break. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and inviting—ideal for unwinding or getting some work done. A special shout-out to the young waiter, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He took the time to give recommendations and made my visit even more enjoyable. Came here and had the most delicious americano. If you're waiting at ADO to catch your bus, you can order a yummy fresh baguette sandwich here. It's the real deal, made with love and care. You can watch out for your bus with one eye while ordering your bus snack. If you need some dog love, you can always give Ramon a little tummy rub. He's the resident black lab. Friendly people, good tasting sandwiches freshly made. The fridge is just to keep the bread fresh, after orderings toppings are added.
