Brigantine Steak House — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Despite the positive online reviews, our experience here was disappointing. I had made a reservation weeks in advance, but upon arrival, the staff couldn’t locate it. Thankfully, I had saved the confirmation email from the concierge, which resolved the issue, but it was an unnecessary hassle.

We both ordered pasta, but my daughter's dish arrived ice cold while mine was fine. We had to flag down the waiter to send her dish back for reheating. While waiting, I ate my meal so it wouldn’t get cold, meaning we ended up eating at separate times. Despite what should have been a quick fix—either microwaving or reheating in the oven—it took nearly ten minutes for her dish to return. When it finally came back, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience.

The Brigantine has very good food and an excellent staff. The hostess and restaurant manager are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. We had 3 dinner services there, and our waiter was Jorge. Jorge is fantastic! He is very professional, provided excellent service, and was very friendly and courteous. He even stopped by the pool during the day to say hello and chit-chat for a bit. After a week of mediocre service at Sports Bar and poolside, Brigantine Restaurant saved our vacation.
