Great value for the experience, especially if the whales are active. Only negatives would be they didn't tell us how to use the snorkeling mask so i was glad we sat next to people that did, we had to wear life vests no matter the age so we couldn't go down below the surface, and they asked for a personal tip after their "deck show dancing" and before they brought out the photos so you'll feel like you have to pay for both. Common practice in Cabo to get more out of tourists. We had learned by then so we didn't give a personal tip-and we didn't watch them anyways since they were on the lower deck-and just paid for the photos-$20 for 3 pics. The life vest I get if it's for liability but the other 2 things they could fix. However, we basically got a 2 for 1 because the whales were jumping all around the boat as we headed to the snorkeling spot so we didn't do a whale watching tour lol. Every time they starting popping out, which was a lot, the captain would stop the boat for a bit and pointed them out so we got to see mom & baby whales together playing around on the way to snorkeling. Also, they said when we were there on 2/29/24, it was their breeding season so if you go in early spring, you can probably book any boat tour thats not a whale watching tour and youll see them anyways. There's table & booth seating on the top deck, which gave us a 360° view and was great when they gave us a taco lunch later because the rest of the seating was on the lower deck and they didn't have tables. There didn't seem to be a limit on drinks-and they especially push the alcohol-but it's included in the price for the tour so many took advantage of that. We saw a lot of tropical fish and the fish had no fear of people so many of them were within arms reach. My husband figured out how to touch their tails when their backs were turned and schools of fish hit our fins a few times when they scattered. Overall, a great experience and definitely one of the best values of the tours because of the amount of things you get for...
Read moreMy family and I chose Sunrider Tours because they came highly recommended for the cruise and snorkeling and they did not disappoint. Tours are more than just a checklist of things to do, and are about the experience, and it was as good as we could’ve imagined. Better in fact! Everyone was friendly from the gate at the Pier to the end of the cruise. The cruise had open bar and lunch was provided after the snorkeling with plenty of good music the cruise was always entertaining. Drinks were plentiful and they were proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed and enjoyed the cruise. We had our kids with us (2 & 7) and when lunch was provided, knowing the difficulty of carrying multiple plates, they insisted to carry the plates for us to our seats. Safety was a priority as a the two life guards went over everything we needed and were attentive the entire trip on the boat and during the snorkeling. Even non swimmers had the ability to enjoy the snorkeling experience. The service was as good as it gets, professional and everyone went above and beyond in every way they could. A photographer was on board to capture our favorite moments. Entertainment was what we would expect until the end when they had us all laughing and smiling. The Catamaran was clean, well maintained & was the best experience we could’ve hoped for. It definitely exceeded our expectations in every way. My compliment and thanks to the...
Read moreI never write reviews but I really had to do it in this case because wooow, absolutely incredible experience with Sunrider in Cabo & La Paz!
I can’t say enough amazing things about Sunrider! From start to finish, every single tour we did with them was flawless. We did the Sunset Dinner Cruise, and even Scuba Diving—and WOW! Each one was unforgettable.
The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and having fun. The boats are spotless and very well maintained, the atmosphere is super welcoming, and everything is run smoothly.
The Sunset Dinner Cruise was such a blast—the entertainment was lively and fun, the music was great, and the vibes were just perfect. The food was beyond delicious, and I highly recommend trying their lobster ;)—absolutely worth it! During our tour, we saw tons of whales, it was a truly magical experience.
Snorkeling and scuba diving were also beyond expectations. The guides were so knowledgeable and made sure we felt safe every step of the way, and the marine life was breathtaking.
Sunrider is hands down the best tour company I’ve ever experienced. I would recommend them to anyone visiting Cabo or La Paz, you’re guaranteed to have the time...
